I have listened to the show for years now and the only ones I skip are with Jim Grieshaber. He seems unprepared and always has issues. That is in addition to his delivery style. He can’t spit out one coherent sentence without some stupid catch phrase or some other stupid saying he comes up with. David and Wes are great, especially together, but it’s time to dump the chump

I listen to all episodes that Jim Grieshaber Is not on. He will be the reason I just stop listening to lock on heat.

I like this podcast as you guys are very at giving game reviews, but it’s clear who has and hasn’t been paying attention to the Miami Heat and Pat Riley for the last 20 offseasons. Pat’s comments on Tyler Herro are supposed to make it seem, at face value, that he will not be traded. These comments by Pat are solely to attempt to increase Tyler’s trade value. We’ve seen it time and time again in Pat’s history as a GM. He talks very highly of a player to increase value; and then trades them the same offseason. My only thing is if you’re going to be covering a team like the Miami Heat, our history of things like this are very important to know

Hey guys. Full transparency here. I’m a C’s fan but I like to listen to your podcast as you two are insightful and pretty objective win or lose regarding evaluations. I can’t say the same thing for Locked On Celtics which I refuse to listen to. Your Game 6 review though misses the mark on some key points. While handing out 8 slices of Blame pie to Butler for tentative shooting and missed shots, not nearly enough love given to the C’s defensive hounding of Butler to wear him down, same for Bam. C’mon. Also, not one mention of how poorly the C’s shot from downtown. Big 0-fors from Tatum, Brown, Williams and Horford from behind the arc. C’s shoot their normal 40% ratio the Heat are TOAST in Boston.

David and Wes, the gems of soflo sports talks show. They both give insightful break down all things of the Miami Heat and basketball, while keeping the show lighthearted. Refreshing how they both compliment each other, David with his old schoolish approach, and Wes with his fresh taste. Modern day Batman and Robin…..

Excellent Podcast 5 star The Miani Heat got their best offensive performance over the season while Max Strus rumors percolated overver the weekend Shoukd the Heat considered trade Max Stru make major rotation addition, and what’s the latest on Omer Yurtseven’s injury status? You two break down what went right for the Heat against the 🐝 abd hang oout credit coikies , as if the Heat should consider trading Strus and if Orlando Robinson can mske an impact on a two-way contract Lastly, Wes ranks the top five foods he ate on his honeymoon in Columbia.

Love the show, non biased exactly what I need to start my day

They say it in the intro, but I literally put this podcast as my first listen every single morning. Their feedback is honestly to what they believe, whether I agree or not, is what I love about the show. This will always be my first podcast to start my morning!

I’ve been a Long time heat fan, but never been much of a podcast listener until one day after a game, walking home from the FTX arena the algorithm gods blessed me with this recommendation and I was hooked. Wes and David are a fun duo who seem like complete opposite at times which makes it even more entertaining all while being informative. They OFTEN record right before or after games at the arena so the news is as fresh as can be. Highly recommend this show.

David and Wes give great inside knowledge on the team and there not biased they give fair judgement as well

When I decided to start podcasting, my dream was to be like locked on heat. These guys give excellent commentary while being entertaining and engaging.

Love this show, they always give great info on our favorite basketball team!

When Durant left OkC after losing to Golden State and then he joined GS, so do you think that Durant would ax this deal to not go to another team that just swept him in the playoffs. Do we remember the feed back that he got especially winning those titles and how they are looked at when it comes to his legacy?

Dave does a great job and addresses the issues seriously and thoughtfully. By far my favorite Miami Heat podcast.

Milwaukee is terrible and those cretin insecure nitwit fans can’t help but lash out at someone as decent and thoughtful as Dave Ramil. At the end of the day, it’s worse to wake up in Milwaukee than anywhere in FL. Have fun digging out of your front door to get to work in January morons…

Leaving this review to say thank you for your well thought out shows. Sometimes I forget that I’m listening to a broadcast about the Miami Heat because Dave imbues his shows with incredible insight to humanity, life, the players and the game. In a day and age where voicing your opinion can be scary, Dave is a pillar of intelligence. He sees both sides of the coin and I love this show. It’s what I look forward to on my long commute to work. Keep fighting the good fight, dude!

This review is primarily for the episode released on Tuesday, 3/9/21. On this podcast, David correctly condemned Meyers Leonard's anti-semistic comments. However, David inexlicably proceeded to devote time on the show to discuss black people's use of the "N word." Mind you, David is NOT black, so I'm not sure why he felt inclined to speak on this matter.Then, he started only bringing up comments made by two black players (Lebron James and Stephen Jackson). What did any of this have to do with the statements made by Meyers? It appared to me that David was more interested in pushing a reverse racism agenda as opposed to focusing on the issue at hand. While David usually provides good basketball analysis, his take on the Meyers' situation was clearly not thought-out and riddled with implicit anti-black sentiments.

After another frustrating loss, it’s nice to hear some perspective, particularly the reflection upon the off-season choices. It’s refreshing to hear takes that don’t just harp on “Spo/Riley messed it up and didn’t give Jimmy what he needed” but actual level-headed analysis and perspective. That’s what David offers that many other Heat podcasts do not.

I love it when David snaps and shares his views. Yes this is a basketball podcast but it’s important to know who you’re listening to and who you’re supporting. Not only is the basketball content great but he goes in depth and makes great points on every single episode. It’s a 5 star Miami Heat podcast and i love listening to it. PS : My only complaint is how David says “Anunoby” (i’m joking but pls, that pronunciation needs help). Keep it spicy David!

I go to this podcasts because it offers good information and analysis of the players. I have now no choice but to stop listening because I cannot disagree more with his political views. Please stay in your lane. The NBA is returning back to political activism and is going to cost the industry the loss of millions of followers.

David is a fan, but isn’t like so many others in Heat media. He isn’t afraid to admit issues with the team.

As a long time Heat fan I really appreciate engaging, thoughtful comments and analysis coming from a host that cares about the team but keeps objectivity. It is also worth mentioning he does not hesitate to share his point of view from moral standpoint and be vocal about values. Decency matters!

Still want more of you and Wes but you holding it down great! Love the insight and you keep the podcast coming. Lifelong listener I shall be!

Stupid how this year and last years finals ended the way they did because of stupid injuries. Heat got shortchanged. Still exited for next year. Good podcast. Go Heat!

Having the perspective of different, local hosts is a great thing. Seen the whole network improve over time. Before it seemed like mostly beat writers expressing their opinions without skilled presentation, but that has significantly improved and gone on to even include small doses of humor than appropriate. The knowledge presented here is so much better than the often uninformed national perspective. Other hosts are often good, too, and they mostly understand their teams very well in ways that aren’t easy unless you always follow the team in question.
