Matt, Jeff, & Ashley are a treat to listen to. If you want an honest review of the latest Marvel film, or the latest episode of a Marvel TV series, then this is the show to listen to. They never hold back on giving their opinions, whether they like or dislike something about the Movies or Episodes they are reviewing, and that is what I like best about their podcast. Matt & Jeff not only give a synopsis of the film/episode, but given their MCU knowledge, they will even speculate on what future storylines will cover. Sometimes their speculation might be off the wall, or it might be spot-on as they can predict in what path the story will go to. Using her knowledge and skills in make-up and hair styling, Ashley will point out details that most people will not notice about an actor or actress’s hair, make-up, and even provide great critiques of the costumes/clothing of a character. Ashley also provides a grittier take on the movie or episode she is reviewing, than Matt or Jeff would. All of these elements is what makes for a great podcast to listen to.

Finding a great podcast can be tough. As someone who takes a while to warm up to new things, it usually takes me a minute to find a podcast I can actually sit down and listen to without cringing. Finding the perfect podcast isn’t realistic—nothing is perfect, and of course, you’re not going to agree 100% with everything the hosts say. But that’s okay, as long as you feel comfortable and respected as a listener. And that’s exactly how I feel with the Marvel Cinematic Universe Podcast. As a newcomer who’s been listening for about a year now, I felt instantly at home. Matt, Jeff, Ashley, and J Scotty are amazing. They bring such thoughtful insight to everything I love about Marvel. You can feel their passion through your speakers—it’s clear they don’t do this podcast just for themselves. They genuinely care about us, the listeners, and the time and energy they pour into watching all the Marvel content, crafting their theories, and giving us immediate reactions is honestly inspiring. I mean, they stay up late sometimes just to give us reviews on shows like Agatha: All Along and Daredevil, all while juggling their own lives and responsibilities. It really shows how much this podcast means—not just to them, but to us too. What makes them even more special is how they listen to our feedback and theories, and they give us a voice. They’re open, vulnerable, and honest—even about personal hardships, which they don’t owe us at all. But the fact that they share while still maintaining their own values and boundaries? That’s incredibly admirable. As someone who’s been going through a rough few months, this podcast has become part of my safe space. New episodes help get me through my mornings and nights—and they genuinely put a smile on my face. (In my best Thanos voice) They truly are part of my North Star. Hey JAM! (and Scoots) This is my first time writing in, but I’ve been listening for almost a year now, and I LOVE the show. You guys provide me with so much great added insight into this amazing universe we both love. But let me get to the point. As the clock winds down to the release of both Doomsday and Secret Wars, I am in a unique position because I was not a big Marvel fan back when Infinity War and Endgame came out. I’m SUPER hyped for both movies, just a little concerned on how they are going to affect the universe as a whole. With the Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, and X-Men confirmed to show up in Doomsday, it seems pretty clear that there is going to be more than a simple incursion throwing the plot into action. Also, NO DOCTOR STRANGE?! Nevertheless, I can’t wait for the rest of this year, and if the leaked concept art is real, then I really love the comic-accurate aesthetic Feige’s going for. Love you 10500 (3 for you guys and a half for Scotty), KingXhosa616 (P.S. I can’t wait for season two of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, and it is definitely my favorite property of the year so far. Can’t wait to see what they do with Lonnie.)

I have listened to this podcast virtually since the beginning. It has been a staple on my routine for years now. I remember when Jeff and Matt were first covering Agents of Shield, the original Guardians of the Galaxy being the catalyst for the podcast, and so many other great Marvel moments. The addition of Ashley to the pod is one of the best things that has ever happened to the show. Her takes are great. And I can’t even picture the show without her anymore. If you love Marvel. Hi JAM, First time long time! Just think about what is challenging about the Tony Stark/Doom dilemma. Everyone seems to assume that Doom is a variant of Tony Stark and that does present challenges. However, I think the more interesting road to travel is that Stark is a variant of Doom. Maybe Doom is aware when his variant does in a different universe and that’s what brings him to the sacred timeline. This seems very interesting to me and challenging for fans because Tony Stark isn’t the anchor being. He’s just another Doom. Anyway, loving the panda banter. Stay Classy

I always listen to podcasts on my daily commute and this is one that I look forward to the most. The hosts are great and it feels like I’m enjoying geeky marvel movies talk with friends. I even get a little sad when I haven’t yet seen the content they are chatting about, or (more often) I’ve finished all the available episodes. I highly recommend this podcast if you’re a Marvel Movies fan who just loves talking about the movies.
