I learned the German language 40 years ago and I still speak it fluently even though I have lived in non German speaking countries. The podcast is so convenient and helpful for me to keep up with the language as well as the happenings in Europe particularly Germany where I lived studied and worked for nearly 5 years

I’m so grateful to this podcast. I’m originally from Germany, but have lived in the US for over a decade now. The podcast is a great daily way for me to keep up with the news from back home and what my family and friends face in Germany. I used to watch the news online, but listening to the podcast version is so much easier for me. And of course, excellent reporting. I wish the US would have more professional news sources like Germany.

Mein morgendliches Update aus dem Rest der Welt. Bester Weg auch hier in den USA informiert zu bleiben.

It is fantastic that ARD does the Tagesschau and that Apple puts it on iTunes, but couldn't iTunes become a little more world aware by say grouping all of the German public radio podcasts (ARD, ZDF and the various Laender such as Bayern 3, SWF, HR, NDR etc) together in one location? It seems a bit hit and miss in finding in non English language podcasts.

Ich kann nur sagen das ich seit einiger Zeit auf so etwas gewartet hab'. Die Tagesschau Podcast ist genial. Ich hoere sie mir jeden Tag am Morgen bei der Arbeit an, in den Vereinigten Staaten, und kann mir die Internet News ersparen. Gut. Sehr gut.

Ich habe schon seit Jahren auf präzise und klare Nachrichten hier in den USA gewartet. Jetzt habe ich endlich die Möglichkeit die Tagesschau wieder zu hören. Ich weiß mehr was in der Welt vor sich geht, als von den stundenlangen Amerikanischen "News" Programmen. Und ich weiß was so in Deutschland vor sich geht.
