    Awesome
    Great research! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Objection
The content is good. The narrator is a member of The Federalist Society and worked to elevate Gorsuch to SCOTUS nomination. A nice voice doesn’t narrow the large gap between her values and mine.

    Alice!
I had no idea Alice was the narrator. I love her voice! She’s incredible.

    Love the show
I don’t get triggered and I hate that word. However, the awful and graphic description of the horse abuse has me shutting the podcast off asap. So disturbing !

    Subscription but still getting ads
I love all the A&E podcasts and paid the 40 bucks as a premium subscriber and still get just as many ads and the advertisement says no ads when you subscribe… I have sent messages. I have reported it, but I’ve had no feedback so I just requested a refund Buyer beware!

Alice!! Great Narrator , Such Passion
Loved the old version of this but hearing Alice — a true attorney and former prosecutor —really adds so much to the presentation of each episode. Beautifully presented and true Crime!! Perfect!

    Disappointed in host choice
I love the old city confidential show and even the newer iteration. The original version was narrated by a legend. This podcast host just does not have a good speaking voice. She sounds like she’s telling a tale around a camp fire.

    Old fan
Used to be a major fan of original City Confidential - this podcast does not come anywhere to the quality of original - do not like the narrator at all

Why can’t I find Alice’s name as narrator?
I knew. Recognized that voice. Alice is wonderful in the Prosecutors! Love her! No t sure how you manage everything you do with the young kids but love to hear you, Alice!

One of the best true crime podcasts…
if you listen to a lot of true crime podcast, you realize they fall into two groups: entertainment, and professional insight. The entertainment ones have more narrator, personality, and less learning. The other category is the one that teaches you something often times many things about forensics about investigative procedure and abouthuman personality defects if you will. This podcast, although it is enjoyable to listen to falls in the second category. I always learn something. And the narration is very professional. There’s no hype. There’s no sensationalism. Very well done.

    Great Show_Great Narrator!
This was #1 fave show on TV from season 1’s premiere & I was so excited when I saw that it was made available via podcast. When I caught on that Alice was narrating … I loved it! Evolution brings progress & progress delivers new - having a new, female narrator, is a nice change :).

    Love Alice’s voice
Don’t listen to the jealously, Alice. You have a great voice, obviously. Jurors love it. Listeners love it.

    Very Well Done
I’ve listen to dozens of true crime podcasts and I love everything about this, especially the interviews and first hand experiences of people that worked the case. Keep it coming!

    Love this show!
The voice of a host is everything. I can after hearing one sentence if I’ll like a show or not and this is a keeper! Way better than the old version.
  • jipjopflop
    NO!!!!
If you’re going to revive City Confidential, you have to use a narrator similar to the one the show originally had. That was part of what made the show so great. Instead, you’re using Alice from the Prosecutors podcast to narrate this show. Who’s idea was that??? Her nasally voice totally ruins it.
