I loved this from the first line. I know what I’m listening to is stellar when I start talking back to the characters as if we are conversing. People in my workplace were hearing my commentary as I listened. The content is relatable and spot on. I will be sharing this with my daughter and niece since they are dealing with these issues. We all experience some form of this in the work place and in our personal relationships. Keep the episodes coming, this is a gem.

I love this drama podcast! This has me looking like I wonder what will happen next. Wills she find her love will she get back his ex. Like I wasn’t to know so more! I hope there will be more this podcast.

I’ve been listening to the episodes for the second time and like Kenya said for me the first time was about entertainment this going round is about learning mainly about myself. This was too real exchanging something because you think it will get you love but you really was looking for validation. This episode had so much. I got the book and I’ll be digging in. Thanks for doing this so worth.

I just finished binging all the episodes, and I LOVED EVERY MINUTE!!!! This is everything I never knew I needed! The podcast also put me on to some amazing music! I am now playing King Sis nonstop!

So glad I stumbled upon this podcast. I can relate to the main character’s situations and reactions from my younger years. However, she definitely has some maturing to do.I can’t wait to see what happens in season 2. My only critique is the excessive music breaks in each episode. The music is great, but I find that it takes up too much space in the story. I’d like to hear longer dialogue instead.

Ok, don’t be surprised when you end up mad some of the characters. Don’t be surprised when you audibly gasp in disbelief. Just know, this will pull at your emotions. This is a testament to the brilliant writing and directing of this podcast. I assume we all hate Jackson? Yes?…YUP!

I didn’t think I could love the Martins anymore, but I was so wrong. This scripted podcast is so realistic, so relatable, so well done, SO GOOD! Unmasked lacks no gems so if you enjoy Ask the Martins, you’ll love it here too. Next, we need a playlist of all the songs throughout the series.

I’m not certain if the other reviews are real but I want to offer my perspective bc it’s a great podcast . I have listened to several fictional story podcasts and they tend to be too short , too heavy on ads and draw out a story line. This one however , is intriguing and witty .I do skip through the unnecessarily long music breaks, but that would be my only critique. I find Kenya to be irritating and immature, but I love that she’s not written to be this lovable character ,she’s realistic . I appreciate that Apple suggested this story to me because I can’t wait for the next episode

While I know the concept of telling a story without video and outside of books isn’t new, I love what this podcast has done. It’s the feel of waiting for your favorite soap opera every week while being able to create the look and feel of the characters in your head. Glad I stumbled upon this show. Really, really dope.

This show is what I didn’t know I needed! I barely have time to watch tv so the idea of a podcast show just brings a level of ease. And the storyline and the characters are so incredibly entertaining. There are aspects of this show that feel a little too real! 🤣 I listened to all 5 episodes 2 days! Waiting (slightly impatiently) for season 2!

I am enjoying listening to this unfold. I appreciate how realistic it is. Kenya cracks me up. The boyfriend, Lord he’s trying hard. That’s the crazy part. Her father and boyfriend are will to go through great lengths for their own personal reasons and not for her direction for her own life. It’s helping me for my current place in my life. I’ve never listened to a scripted podcast before but I’m loving it-writing, music, sound affects-all of it pulls you into a story you can visualize and get caught up in. Kenya feels like a friend - in many aspects like a reflection. I may not have a Nigerian daddy, but I have a dad that has specific expectations that I often don't agree with. I've experienced the struggles of being female in a male dominated workplace and witnessed my friends experience overt and covert racism. This is an entertaining piece that addresses real issues in a real way.

From the first minutes of the first episode, I was hooked!! This is sooo relatable!! Especially the Ex that pops up when you’re at your most vulnerable moment!! Ugh!! I need an episode every week!!
