    Personality Crisis
I like these people and the scope of the project they've undertaken, but the narrrative voice of both hosts is just not cutting it. Too earnest, pedantic...they're the UFO version of your 6th grade geography teacher. Kelly, Jay: take a step back, find a host. You (really) need a lead singer for this band to go anywhere.

    Lots of incredible thoughts!
So interesting to hear, I just heard the most recent talk on time and what is it really? Thought provoking in a fascinating way that is soo much fun and I feel expanded in a very good way!

    Tone Deaf Political Ads
Running an anti Biden, pro-Trump political ad in April 2025 is a hot take. Even more so when it’s the first audio I hear upon pressing play. Kelly is great, I assume it’s an ad network but I can’t condone it, especially with the amount of right-wing political grifters in this topic.

    Cosmic Hypnosis = Cosmosis
When this was the UFO Rabbit Hole there was something sincere, urgent, and building. It was brilliant. Kelly Chase has such a sharp and penetrating mind, and her eloquence was only matched by her insight. I don’t know what this overproduced snooze fest is. Seriously, it should come with a warning label: don’t operate heavy machinery or drive when listening. It is synthetic. Slow. Plodding. Boring. The advertisements are so seamlessly woven into the “content” that at one point I thought I was listening to a moment of disclosure, but instead it was a mattress commercial (or whatever) played out by Kelly and the monotone producer or android or grey or AI - I don’t know and I don’t care. All I know is the commercial was delivered in such a convincing and seamless tone that I experienced ontological shock once I discovered it wasn’t aliens, but a comfy mattress. I almost feel like this whole thing has been an elaborate prank, like Orsen Wells redux. Honestly the rhythm and pacing feels more like I’m being hypnotized. And that concerns me. I could definitely fall asleep very easily to what has become like listening to a mildly interesting undergraduate lecture at a mid tier state university. But maybe that’s the point. Maybe they have a deal with Big Mattress to hypnotize you. Turn on the podcast and listen. Then suddenly you wake up to find on your phone confirmation a new mattress is arriving tomorrow, and you will enjoy that 5% Cosmosis discount. That’s all well and good until your house is filled with 100 new mattresses and your bank account drained. Weird psyop guys. Just saying.

Jesus did it first … and better
This podcast is a woman sighing a lot and asking, “What does it all mean?” And talking at you like she’s Carrie Bradshaw at the end of sex in the city except and instead of sex she’s exploring the “narrative.” Which really confounds her. If you really like the word narrative, just don’t listen to this podcast, cause it will ruin the word narrative for you. She has an obsession with the word narrative—she talks about believing the narrative, losing faith in the narrative, questioning this narrative, this narrative….—without ever really defining what the narrative actually is. It’s almost like narrative is her higher power, as if she’s in some kind of Narrative Anonymous… she wrestles with this narrative more than Jacob wrestled with that angel. Except that Jacob managed to create a whole religion and I think that this lady’s problem is there’s plenty of religions already and she just needs to go join a real one. They did at first and better. They’re 3008 she’s 2000 and late like Fergie says. And she never misses a chance to unleash a sigh so profound it prolly rattles her windows and then, “What does it all mean?” It just ends up feeling like she’s cosplaying an intellectual. Very sincerely though…you guys I’m telling you she’s so sincere that a hallmark card dripping with pastels that opens into like a 3-D paper baby koala bear in a cute anime girl outfit would roll its eyes and be like dial it back gurl

    I hope this gets better…
I LOVED the UFO Rabbit Hole; I felt like it was one of the few modern phenomenon-related casts that wasn’t afraid to discuss topics that delved into the “woo”. However…the first episode of cosmosis is one of the most boring audio sessions I’ve ever subjected my ears to. We literally learned more about the history of slavery in east Texas than we did the phenomenon. Maybe it was the subject matter, maybe it was the subject (human) themselves, but it was awful. Inane. Meandering. And again, the worst sin a podcast can commit: it was dang BORING. I’ll come back for episode 2 and try again (out of an abundance of respect for Kelly), but I can’t give it another shot after that. Side-note: the new co-host drones on like a humanoid dictionary-reader. My disappointment is immeasurable.

    Redundant
If you watched the show it was just not what you would expect, should be new and sort of exciting. I was bored sorry.

    I want to like this
I really wish there was a better way to provide feedback without publicly shaming anyone but the podcast would be so much better with a different speaking style. Reading the content is coming across rigid and arrogant and is hard to listen to. I liked learning some of the stories but the voice is so unnatural. Talk to us like you’re talking to a friend, not like you’re talking to an audience. I joined the Patreon and one of the live zooms and it was a bad experience. The guest Jay King chastised a participant for interrupting. It was really arrogant, which emphasizes just how much the theme of high horse runs through the UFO “expert” community.

Kelly I paid for and watched all 3 episodes of your program. It was fantastic. Yes, you now have taken the narrative forward and away from the usual subject of disclosure. You present ways for people to understand and engage the phenomena. It was also refreshing to hear African American voices on the subject and their experiences. I’m glad I purchased it so I can watch it again and when my family visits they can view it also. You and your team knocked it out of the park! Congratulations to you all!

    Oof
Kelly has unfortunately officially gone unhinged…this started out great as an educational primer on the phenomenon and now we’re at noetics and schizophrenic hallucinations of dna and candy canes. The first bunch of episodes are still worth listening to!

Love the podcast but it’s pretty frustrating to have weeks and months and other content separating consecutive episodes.

    A read aloud blog, basically
I was expecting a talk show that examined different perspectives and theories. This sounds like the girl’s personal blog, read to us. She feels like the UFO phenomena is nothing more than dead people as spirit entities coming back, or so she pretty much stated in one of the episodes. I don’t know about everyone else, but of all the theories out there, that one is the most ridiculous one. It doesn’t explain the crashed spacecraft (if they exist), the cow mutilations, the abductions and why haven’t any of my dead relatives come to see me? Oh, of course! They were too preoccupied driving the tic tac spaceship and tricking our military! If you really want to interact with any loved ones who have passed on, you might need to book a trip to Utah. Anyway, the podcast gets tiresome listening to her ramble on and inserting her opinions (which isn’t that bright). Too bad, since she’s got a great radio voice. Great voice or not, it isn’t worth listening to ramble off for another episode.

A lot of philosophical non sequiturs
Podcast is well produced and engaging. I enjoyed the first several episodes, where she was exploring the possible theories behind what UFO’s could be. But when she got into philosophy, there were so many non sequiturs, it was really hard to keep listening. Just because UFOs could indicate a species we’ve never met, or might imply forms of science we haven’t discovered yet, etc., doesn’t mean that our ability to make meaning is fundamentally altered. I really don’t see what one has to do with the other. If biologists announced the discovery of a new species of whale, or if engineers claimed to crack warp travel, it wouldn’t destroy my world. I would say “oh, that’s cool!” And continue on with my life. The podcast host fails to effectively communicate why the possibilities around UFOs are giving her such an existential crisis. “Meaning” generally has to do with things like satisfying relationships, morality, justice, and things like that. Not technological innovation.I’m clearly missing something, but all the navel gazing around feeling like she’s on the verge of some kind of spiritual enlightenment is really making my eyes roll.

    Another Cynical Cash Grab
I give this podcast one extra star because the first dozen or so episodes have an earnest, if often cringey charm. Although the host demonstrates a complete misunderstanding of physics and philosophy, and the production is odd with long, minute-plus musical interludes inserted for no apparent purpose, I enjoyed the early episodes anyway. Things become problematic later, when this transforms into a promotional vehicle. The host leans hard into the religion-adjacent aspects of the UFO topic and apparently senses an opportunity to make a buck from the “true believers” who lack critical thinking skills. Later episodes turn into interviews with authors that are little more than teasers (buy the book for the full story!), advertisements for conferences that get mysteriously canceled (I hope the fees were refunded), and marketing for the host’s new media company. Of course. What started out as a campy guilty pleasure turned into another soulless To The Stars entertainment company. Pity.

    Great Addition

In the middle Dr. Steven Greer is mentioned-
Tom DeLong infers interaction with Dr Greer. Some day, However you present him- whether by review of his impact, or have him on to interview, Dr Greer is described as “controversial” , Why ? I think this would make a good podcast focus.
  • Stratguy666
    Cringy
I heard the episode on Wright Patterson AFB. The interviewee was meandering, unfocused, and repetitive. He also acknowledged he had no evidence, only hearsay. Worse is the podcast host. How can anyone be this credible and gullible? She’s believes anything she hears about UFOs. 😬
  • MikeB310
    Great episode and podcast.
And Kelly, fear not, you’re not alone in your experiences. Been experiencing an anomalous life for decades. Embrace it.

Not the fair and balanced discussion of this topic I was hoping for
I was looking for a podcast that would lay out the case for UFOs/UAPs from a rational, evidence-based perspective, and on first glance, this seemed like maybe it would be it. But I’m 5 episodes in now and…it’s not. The host presents a very one-sided view of all the evidence and doesn’t even engage with very obvious counterarguments. I’m left thinking, well, if this is the best case there is to make on the subject of UFOs and aliens, then I guess there really isn’t much to this after all. I’d almost prefer the show if the host didn’t claim to be searching for the truth, but rather just to promote her own ideas about things. But given that she does claim that, I was hoping for more rigor and more willingness to engage in other possibilities. It’s true that Sherlock Holmes said something like “once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.” The problem is, this podcast declares a lot of things “impossible” that really aren’t so it can skip to “this must be the truth.”
  • A Girl Called Elsa
What happened to the scientific rigor?
The UFO Rabbit Hole podcast is described as a “structured, science-based deep dive into the [UFO] phenomenon.” However, this description no longer rings true. It’s largely become a forum for experiencer stories and mystical musings — told without any hint of critical lens or questioning. Kelly’s earlier approach to the podcast resonated with me. I admired her ability to strike a healthy balance between curiosity / open-mindedness and objectivity. As she gets deeper into the experiencer community, this objectivity seems to be fading fast from the podcast. How far are we from an episode about mermaids and fairies, with Kelly describing our skepticism as cognitive dissonance? To be clear: I welcome experiencer stories as part of the UFO conversation, and I respect Kelly’s clear communications style, intelligence and curiosity on the topic. What I miss is any sign of objectivity or healthy questioning — maybe it’s still happening somewhere behind the scenes, but it’s not coming through in recent episodes. Or perhaps the podcast has just changed shape, and the show’s description — along with my expectations — need adjusting.

    Thought Provoking
This podcast is a breath of fresh air. Kelly Chase speaks on her topics in a thoughtful, educated manner that reflects her devotion to looking beyond the surface. Thank you for your efforts!

This has to be one of best podcasts on the subject of UFOs
Kelly Chases intellect is breathtaking. She explains complex concepts in such plain understandable language. Just so impressive.

Kelly Chase makes the UAP phenomenon accessible
She is one of the best communicators on UAP I’ve come across so far. She approaches the UAP topic with journalistic and scientific rigor, and is highly relatable in her storytelling of her own dawning realizations and shifting worldview as she investigates the biggest mystery in human history.

    Planet of the Japes
Whichever way the cards fall vis-a-vis UFO presence among us, Earth is under management by bad monkeys so it’s no wonder that theoretical visitors are leery about ringing our doorbell and risk getting shot for their trouble. Put another way, when humans study crocodiles they tend to stay clear of the water. It’s simply smart fieldwork. More to my point, this podcast offers a serious inquiry with a sense of humor; no tinfoil hat-wear here.

Aliens are angels are fairies and elves, oh no
I guess I’m the only person getting impatient and frustrated with the direction this podcast has been going in the last year or so. I am frankly really tired of hearing interviews with the likes of Kripal, Pasulka and Madden and discussions about Plato’s cave. The idea that aliens are the same thing as angels, which are the same thing as fairies and elves, etc. does not merit one episode after another for months on end. It’s been given way too much weight and has now become the defining feature of this program. Not at all what I signed up for when I started listening some 30 plus episodes ago. Do such theories help us to actually understand what’s going on, to engage with it, and to deepen our understanding? No, I don’t think so. There’s a sameness to it all because Pasulka et al are saying that they’re all the same thing! I would really like this program to expand its focus and return to the broad range of perspectives that it used to be known for.
  • OjodiGidojO
    Great show, hits the mark!
This show is getting at the real important point underlying the phenomena, that reality isn’t what we think it is (and we ought to start preparing ourselves for what it might actually be).

Exactly What I Was Looking For
I only developed a real interest in the topic of UFOs a few months ago. After listening to all the many excellent (and some not so excellent) podcasts about evidence and encounters, I really wanted something more that was hard for me to define. This podcast is exactly what I was looking for. It challenges my perception of this phenomenon and reality in ways that keep me thinking long after the episodes are over. I can’t wait for more content from Kelly and Ontocalypse.

    Need to do your homework
I am giving this podcast a chance, but legitimacy requires accuracy. In episode 1 for example, the USS Princeton is NOT and aircraft carrier and CDR Fravor witnessed the tic tax incident, not go-fast. Hopefully you do better research on the following episodes.

    Hard to listen
Good pleasant voice but I feel like she is reading from a script and we don’t get the real enthusiasm or raw effect of talking about this subject. You can tell it’s word for word. It’s hard to follow open to close.
