nbmerrillAlways top notch commentaryYou girls are the best. Exmo here.me). So on with the swears! As much as I h8 Lori I’m not quite sure it was proven beyond reasonable doubt. I just don’t know. I’m a bit of a bleeding heart. And I’m glad I’m not a juror.
-
AngelBaby314EditingI’m not expecting a full on Emmy award winning production but JFC would it be too much trouble to edit out the silence and “you’re on mute” comments? The unannounced ads blasting at full volume are more tolerable than this. Unfollowed.

Lorrie legsKeep on the subjectI really enjoy your quirky ways …. Why do you hv to keep bringing up Trump. Please we are talking about a killer!!!! Keep your politics out of it. It makes me bummed, because I really enjoy you guys .. Jee.. whiz!!
-
Shellsue22Love it!!You two are hilarious!! You always say what I am thinking.
-
ACliff3RNGreat PodcastStarted following on the Daybell case. Knowledgeable, down to earth, great coverage of the case if you can’t watch. They make you feel like you were there!

Polason8Local and comprehensive coverage of the trialGreat job ladies! You’re the only ones providing this detailed, daily coverage. The local perspective with the LDS background is a great addition. Thanks for making it easy to learn about the trial.

jkshailFeel like I have 2 new friendsI have been listing to their coverage on Lori & Chad for a long time. Matter a fact, I am re-listening from the beginning. They hold nothing back! I appreciate the knowledge they are sharing regarding the LDS faith. Plus, these crimes took place in their backyard, they know the area and the people. They make me laugh but always remember the victims. I feel like I am sitting with 2 friends!
-
lolofaerieThese two gals are in my brain!I’ve been watching the court proceedings alone all week. Yelling at the screen. Thank you bringing up the fat shaming and the disrespect given to the incorrect titles and names of the Detectives.
-
Dunkin DoFabioThat was the most hilarious thing I've heard on this messed up ongoing tragedy. John Pryor is pretty funny too. But, loved it! Appreciate your education on the religion and coverage of the case. My belly hurts from laughing 😂 I hope CD goes away for a long time.

nixfinityTerrible TwosomeThree stars for Kristi, zero for Katy (can’t take that cackle).Any two random high school students studying law, journalism or communications could do a better job covering a day's proceedings from afar. These women think they're interesting because they attended court in person, which only makes this s-show more embarrassing. Please remove this nonsense from the legitimate apple search results. Even the sound and recording quality stinks. Katy has a crush on Chad

Snape 87Questionable informationTo spout vague information that you think are some kind of gotcha is not journalism. You seem to be referring to some type of “fact” but have no idea what you’r talking about.

JoJo987654321123456789Joined for Vallow-Daybell, stayed for everything elseI wanted an in depth look at the Vallow-Daybell case and found Katie and Kristy. I love their approach to all the cases they cover and the informal neighborhood-reporting style. As a person of faith I appreciate the respectful yet realistic explanation of those elements. I’m hooked!

Amber CannonThe best!Absolutely love my true crime squad ladies! Keep up the good work!

Sixelav1.0Much loveThanks for tirelessly reporting on this case as well as others. I know you stream on YouTube as well, but it would be nice if you read what you are responding to in the comments so is non-watchers can keep up. YouTube just drains my battery if I try and listen at work and I tend to listen to the podcast audio version more than the YouTube. Thanks humans!
-
Loud iffyReview. Please stop saying hello to listeners or texters mid-sentence. You make fun of people quite often in a childish way. You have good info but it is hard to listen to because it is unprofessional. Overall you seem like good people who want justice.
-
cardsharkgalCardsharkgalLove your podcast. Wish you were on weekly. Great job!!!
-
LuluzMom19YepppRecently found this and I do love it, I really appreciate all the work involved in putting this out. That being said… the laughs, the yawns the yeps and yeah really should be edited out. Yawning while describing the state the children’s corpses was extremely difficult to listen to.

katygrace.Needs improvement…I have listened from the start to end and it’s hard because this podcast does provide local insight - especially from the beginning. It’s fascinating to hear what people were saying at the beginning. However, they talk about listeners having a diagram for all the people involved yet they don’t get it right half the time… i want to give them flash cards so they will CORRECTLY know the facts in the case. I do love the Mormon explanations & they say that’s one reason for making the podcast, because they are ex-Mormon but then they hold back a lot of things because it would be insensitive. either put it ALL out there or don’t. Katie, the laugh is so loud and sounds terrible on the audio.. I know you can’t change your laugh but please turn it down. There is a reason why so many comments and reviews are talking about this… After listening from the beginning to the end, I am seriously worried about both of you. Katie does it more so than Kristi and Kristi really does a great job but Katie is constantly losing words/forgetting facts/forgetting things - like she’s talking then forgets the word she needs and then Kristi or the chatters provide the word. It’s really odd and worries me because it’s not normal for it to constantly happen. I really hope y’all read these reviews and will improve on things because this podcast could be great, if you would make some improvements. I will still listen and hope y’all make this podcast better by listening to your audience. 💗

New listener 18Amazing coverage of Vallow-Daybell trialI’ve been obsessed with this case since the beginning and these sisters do an incredible job of sharing all the trial details. Can listen to them discuss everything for hours - and do!
-
Cjvetter21Real coverageI love this podcast so much, I have been behind on the Daybell/ Vallow case and this podcast has caught me up in such a real way. I appreciate these sisters and their true to life reporting. Strongly recommend to anyone.

rhymes with FancyGreat review! These ladies do an amazing job recapping the trial. I has been listening to a pod of the courtroom audio that was tedious & not complete. This is a much better and informative pod. These sisters have LDS background as well as local knowledge that give a complete understanding of what’s going on. Thanks for your hard work!
-
iplaywithpixelsLove ❤️The sisters are great at reporting and explaining the Mormon faith at it relates to the Daybell storyline. The barking tiny dog in the background drives me a little nuts.
-
shellraeLove these ladies!I’ve been listening. to their Vallow-Daybell trial daily synopsis. They are knowledgeable and entertaining. They’re local to Idaho and know a lot of the people involved in the trial (the good guys, not Chad ). They are former LDS and explain a lot of LDS culture and terminology but these ladies DO NOT push religion and are not preachy. They can explain some of the things we’re hearing in the trial about LDS and it is totally not the crazy stuff chud and Lori believe ! They are sisters and are really cute and funny outside of the trial talk.
-
Ableman543Too much banterI had to drop this…the first several minutes were just personal chit-chat, laughing, off topic. It was not interesting and actually off-putting.
-
Janelle001122Great show butThey do a great job of covering everything.. but that beeping noise in the background drives me insane!
-
Candy Queen😘The very best. These gals are so educated, so knowledgeable & their research and dedication is UNMATCHED
-
BlueskighsLove these Ladies!Love listening to these ladies break down the Lori Vallow Daybell Case; they’re intelligent, witty and attentive to what’s going on in the court and the trial. They’re also a great aid in translating Mormon-ese: Mormon verbiage, doctrine, beliefs and culture for those of us on the outside. I also love the musical intro, a helpful light touch to balance out the heavy material!
-
Reb-fanAwesome podcastEasy to listen to, great information! Thanks for all your hard work ! Keep it up…

ElnmurThe cackles and factsPlease stop laughing…it’s an awful cackling and hurts the ears. Learn how to chuckle instead. Also, please check your “facts”. In the latest episode you state Tylee was 16, but your show notes say she was 15; other reports say she was 17. So, what is it?? If you can’t get this simple fact correct, why should we believe anything else?
-
TaxcellInterestingGreat summary and entertaining
-
HeyhaytaylorI want to likeToo much wasted time with ummms, repetition and long pauses. It would be better if they exited some of that out.

erinannie17Frustrating Incorrect FactsI want to like this podcast, but they come across as anti-Mormon at times, or at the very least biased against Mormons. And completely get big religious details flat out wrong. Examples- The podcasters said Lori asked about “James the Last from the Book of Mormon.” Incorrect. It’s James the Less or Lesser, and he’s from the Bible. He is believed to be the brother of Jesus. He was one of the first witnesses of the resurrection, and received a special appearance from Jesus before he ascended to heaven. Understanding that Chad thought he was James the Lesser reincarnated, is important. They also said the Angel Moroni is one of the lesser known angels. Also not true. He’s the Angel on top of every Mormon temple. Every member of the faith knows who Moroni is. He was a military commander, and last prophet of that era. And prepared people for the Coming of Christ. Again, it’s important to understand who Chad believed himself to be. I want to like this podcast but their misrepresentation and incorrect comments make it hard.

Debra P.Great find !Don’t know how I have missed your Podcast in the past . Better later than never! Since I am beyond social media challenged, I wanted to let you know that I think you guys do a great job . Through your playful banter you guys are able to give our a lot of information. I have learned more from you guys in 5 days than I have in 3 years of listening to other podcasts, documentaries, etc! Great show ladies ❤️

HPLspprThe only source for local accurate information.I really appreciate the local take on this case and the LDS insight. 100% would not have known, for instance, what Lori was saying when she called Melonie “adversarial” in that phone call without this podcast. I would have thought she just was using an awkward word to say aggressive, not that she was influenced by Satan. Yikes! Likewise would not really have understood what they meant by “testifying.” And for the people who give bad reviews because they cannot tolerate listening to women’s voices: you might be a misogynist. Why aren’t you bothered by men’s obnoxious braying laughs in their podcasts? For people who are bothered by sisterly chatting - you can skip forward 30 seconds if you must. But these ladies are warm and charming. Slow down and enjoy their company. If they edited the heck out of their podcast they would not be able to be as prolific. Certainly don’t miss content from the only folks who know folks in the local jail, went to school with the local lawyers, etc. etc. just because you can’t tolerate some chat. Thanks so much for all the info!!!

glaciernationalparkloverSmart and interestingThese woman are smart and interesting to listen to.

PhillieTheMom1006If I wasn’t in FloridaI would totally go to court in your behalf. I LOVE your podcast! Thank you for your transparency.
-
hotcoffee1919SlowTakes too long to get concepts across, lots of time listening to them laugh and repeat ideas.
-
michaels magic threadworksA real shameI really wanted to like this Podcast. The topics always interest me. However listening to the mindless giggles and conversations are just not worth it.
-
Neala's MomExcellent podcastI have been listening to these ladies for awhile now. I appreciate their passion and kindness in their reporting. With respect to the Daybell-Vallow case, they have a unique perspective. Thanks a million!
-
stezanna2022ResearchHost gives bad/inaccurate information on legal procedures and unsubstantiated crime statistics. Either research your statistics, pull in an expert, or just talk about updates.
-
SefaluKeep divingLove the deep dives and especially the insights into LDS beliefs and Vallow/Daybell divergences from those beliefs. I appreciated the comparison between Chad D and Elizabeth Smart’s kidnapper. Would love to hear a comparison between Chad/Lori and the San Francisco witch killers, Suzan And Michael Bear Carson. Both cases involve abandoned children, religious delusions and mission oriented murders. Query: Lori is entitled to a trial of a jury of her peers. Are there that many gods living in Idaho?
