^JRFrustrating.Information is good, the opinions are ok, but the host is frustrating to listen to. He should always have a guest or cohost because he doesn’t get caught up on his own words as much with one. “Not only does he blah blah blah” is a common phrase the host uses when he’s at a loss of words, but he doesn’t use it effectively and stumbles even more afterwards. The uhhhhs & ummmms are exhausting and he tends to repeat phrases repeatedly. If he edited these out, he would cut the podcast in half making it more consumable.

GregAllisonFocus of hostLove the Wildcats content but the host is hard to listen to at times. The repeats of the same sentance structures (not only…j and the pauses and repeating himself with uh and ums is painful. I would recommend the host start to edit the podcasts for when he loses his train of thought. Bear Down

forEmmettZonaIm an SC fan but I’ve become a Wildcat football fan in the last two years (since I saw them come to the Rose Bowl last year and stun the Bruins with an amazing passing display). They were awesome vs. Bruins on Saturday. They will be tough to beat for anyone. Fish is a great coach. They have a very balanced attack!

Pancho MiguelUnprofessionalI appreciate the podcaster’s enthusiasm for the Cats, and he has some good insights. That said, he’s generally unprofessional. He’s very inarticulate. He says lots of “uh,” “um,” “you know,” and empty “etceteras.” He has poor grammar (“there’s lots of problems”). He clearly lets his mouth get way ahead of his brain, with long pauses in the middle of sentences while he’s trying to think of something to say. Lots of malapropisms. It’s ironic that he’s so critical of the Pac-12’s desire to prioritize education, when he’s maybe an example of the need to prioritize it more. If he gets into a Toastmasters class and starts working immediately with a language coach, this could be a decent podcast., but in the meantime, he’s got a ways to go. Oh, and having his dad there as a constant sounding board also isn’t the most professional look.

j'cincinnati'reddRudePlease don’t eat while you are podcasting . From a audio perspective it sounds bad and is very annoying. I normally enjoy your podcast please continue to keep up the great work.

OnlyifImustNeeds preparation and focusDesperately looking for a legitimate Arizona basketball podcast, but unfortunately this one falls short. Half the time it sounds like he just starts his mic and then tries to think of things to talk about, live on the podcast. Lots of “uh….um…..I was going to say….uh…..” Almost as if he’s doing a hard math problem while trying to do a podcast. I’d say about 1 or 2 out of every 5 are worth listening to, hence the rating. Also just replays narratives from other podcasts. I think he’s got the knowledge, just needs to prep more and maybe do less podcasts and limit to when he actually only has legitimate material to bring to light. The fan base is there, but deserves a better product.

Ttaylor42Honest reviewCan be informative at times and I like the insight. But my gosh the host is just never focused. He has to constantly correct himself because he misspoke and always uses word fillers until he can remember or think about what he is going to say (Ummm, uhh). He just never seems prepared on what he is going to talk about and there is no flow. Please listen to the first few minutes of the podcast from Feb. 7th 2023 and you will understand what I am talking about.

zona565656FocusPodcast needs focus. Too much discussion of your personal working relationship and minimal “real AZ” content. You only do 15-25 minutes and the content or discussion is weak. Almost like you don’t prepare but have to fill the slot. I listened today to get a 15 minute podcast of NFL coaches? Schuster (sp?) talks way too much but would probably be ok if you guys had better focused content.

Gustaf in MLess Schuster pleaseGood podcast covering the Cats...but Schuster monopolizes the time making it a difficult listen on many episodes.

rkshaycjroshdnfkfuehahfkehsjfRag on the kids too muchSeems like Mike and Schuester try too hard to be overly critical of 18-22 year old kids. Calling kids/the team horrible, trash, saying only one player on the team is talented… be more professional with your takes. Still a way to get your point across without demeaning the players knowing these kids or their families might listen to this.

PDXJWSEnjoy the show, but....I really enjoy your show Mike! Give you five stars. Just one request and that maybe we can get Schuster to talk a bit less :-) he feels overwhelming sometimes

Matt from BeavertonAwesome AZ podGreat takes, great host and guests. I especially like Brogan’s (sorry if that’s the wrong spelling!) opinions. The fact it’s Monday-Friday is awesome. Though I still want to know why Mike thinks Arizona “hasn’t been relevant” in years :). Keep up the great work!
