As a 27 year old who grew up with a WW2 plane nut and historian of a dad, I love listening to every one of your episodes. I too have grown to oo and ahh about the beautiful warbirds and the deep historical stories included. This is by far the best podcast to listen too. I appreciate all the time and effort you put into every episode.

    Awesome!
Dan you are an amazing story teller! I’d love to hear a story about Bud Anderson, man lived to 102! Amazing! Lee “Buddy” Archer would be fantastic as well or any of the 4th FG boys!

I can’t imagine how difficult and time-consuming it is to produce these episodes with your busy schedule, but do you think you will ever record any new episodes?

    Respectfully Outstanding!
If you are looking for incredible aviation accounts that go well beyond the mainstream, this podcast is a must! Dan has an incredible way of researching the history, connecting the data and most importantly sharing these stories of pilots and their crew members from the greatest aviation generation that fought for the freedom we enjoy every day. Listen to one podcast and you’ll be hooked. Better yet, join his Patreon site and you’ll double the number of podcasts! If that isn’t enough, Dan will personally reach out and get show input from you. A true professional in every way, working to preserve what these brave sky bound warriors did for all of us. Thank you, Dan! Please keep these stories alive and the Warbirds flying!!

    Really enjoying this podcast!
I stumbled upon this podcast by accident. So far I am very taken with the delivery and the content. I read a lot about World War II and particularly the Army air Corps. I am greatly enjoying the podcast devoted to that time period. Learning some interesting facts and gaining book titles for future reading. I will say that the podcast about finding uncle Robbie was very motivating for me to get back into researching my dad‘s service in World War II.

Didn’t fight in WWII? These episodes put you in the action!
Todays youth have no idea what it takes to keep this country free! These men and women fought to keep this country free of communism and socialism and it would be an eye opener for todays Buttercups to listen to these podcast. Dan has a soothing way to tell the stories that don’t show up in history books, stacked today with mostly social justice warriors. Like Dan, I am of the age that I had relatives who flew in the Big War, most who never really wanted to talk about it. He does his research and presents it in an engaging way. Listen to them and you won’t think of flying an ANTIFA flag as you realize what our Fathers went through to keep this country FREE!
