    Really helpful show
This podcast has been very beneficial in helping me understand and cultivate masculine virtues in a world where these things are not valued. And it helps that it does this in a biblical context. It’s been a huge blessing! Thanks

    Horrible
These terrible excuses for male humans need a fast acting terminal illness asap.

    Thank you!
Thank you for calling men out! Calling us out of our moms houses! Out of weakness! Out of being sissies! Out of being nice guys! And limp wrists! Into having a pair! Into doing hard things! Into taking back masculinity from society back to where it belongs, under God and over all creation. Thank you for calling us to dominion! I love this and all men should listen and obey! Wake up men!

One star for the hot title …
One for the beautiful , slightly homoerotic imagery…. You naughty naughty boy! No stars for the cast … interesting, albeit backwards ideas . Frankly scary, and no trace of the hunky man on man action the title tempted me with. Thank God I don’t associate with many like you . Even though you are kinda cute , in that ā€œa-whole try d bag -wrong for me -republican -I might have accidentally hooked up with at a girls weekend in college ā€œ kind of way . Yikes !!!

    Overt anti-Semitism
At 1:14:45 of the Shrier podcast, these guys trade remarks about Betty Friedan’s nose and blame Jews for the excesses of the field of psychology (all while giving a favorable review to a Jewish writer’s book). For the stone-cold stupid fraction of the population that thinks this is edgy, I got nothing to say. For everyone else, ignore these ā€œhard menā€.

    Jew Bashing
I really enjoyed your podcast on therapy. However, the casual Jew bashing you displayed does not align with my understanding of God’s love; he sent Christ first to the Jews and then to the Gentiles. I’ve listened to most of your podcasts and am right with you on Biblical manhood, but I hope you repent of your attitude and words against the Jews.

Christian Wife & Mama loves it too!
My husband and I love this podcast. Though it is made for men, I still love to listen in and feel like I learn so much. It’s super encouraging!

Sad this is a podcast but freedom of free speech

    What a snowflake!!!!
It is amazing that people still believe this hogwash!!! It is sad that you think so little of women that you take the stances you do. You are a coward and need to think about what you say about groups of people who don’t have the power. A woman raised you and you think you are better than her, what an embarrassment!!!!

    The ā€œhardā€ men podcast šŸ˜‚
Just looking at the name of your podcast and the cover art you have chosen, tells me everything. Dude, it’s okay to be attracted to other men.

    Reforming gay Christianity.
Be strong brother. These soft, dough boys dominating Christianity and pretty much the majority of Christian women will be trying to destroy you. I think it would be interesting if you could get get these big Eva characters in person & have tough and fiery conversations - Driscoll, Piper, DeYoung, Chandler, MacArthur.

    Podcast is a blessing .
This podcast has helped me understand Biblical application on masculinity ,and dominion that I missed growing up in a effeminate culture and church. I would highly recommend this podcast for men that want to embrace there God given masculinity and want to understand the world better through a biblical point of view .

    Immature Man, Godly Ideal
I have greatly benefitted from much of what Eric has put forth as a vision of manliness, industriousness, ethics, and virtue. Moreover, the holistic vision that focuses not only on the spiritual but the physical has been helpful. My frustration with Eric stems from his often immature and tribe-exclusive comments: referring to Jake Meador as ā€œderangedā€ because of his clothing style, calling Karen Swallow-Prior an ā€œugly, ugly, nasty womanā€, taking personal shots at DeYoung over theological disagreements, commonly referring to something he disagrees with as ā€œgayā€ — and all of this from the mouth a pastor. Eric, brother, God has gifted you with a great understanding and vision of masculinity but I would humbly encourage you to examine your words, attitude, and passions of your heart that habitually overflow in forms that are much more aligned to the contentious spirit of our age than to that spirit which authoritatively proclaims truth in love. Thankful for much of what you have taught and hope to see continued sanctification in the aforementioned areas. SDG.

    Biblically sound leaders of men!
Great job pointing men towards truth and what it really means to be a man applying God’s word to life now in modern day 2024

    Appalling Misogyny, not Christlike
Truly atrocious, dripping with misogyny and sexism. Someone’s ā€œemotionally manipulative, because she’s a womanā€ was an actual quote. My jaw dropped so many times at the egregious misogyny. As a Christian, I was appalled at the things said on here. There was no Christ in any of your Christianity. This is not respectable traditionalist views being discussed; it’s grossly demeaning of an entire class of people created in the image of God — all while excusing abusive, power-hungry men who have demonized, preyed upon, and laughed off behavior that is severely damaging to the church. This is why people are fleeing the church. I heard no Christ in this ā€œChristianā€ podcast. Just harmful, damaging, and deeply troubling language and views. Disgusting.

    Insanely practical
This podcast has provided me with so many ideas and solid theology for how i can contribute to building christendom.

A podcast for MEN who believe Jesus.
I grew up in the church. The MENNONITE church. Then at age 27 I spent 5 years as a cop, and found myself left on my own by the weak church because of the hard matters I had to deal with. Then I had a pastor accuse me of being evil for enforcing a legitimate law his wife violated. The church I had been a member of for years decided not to support me. Since then I've only encountered weak pastors, cult leaders, and happy-healthy-wealthy churches so I no longer attend church. This man gets it. This is what the church ( and I) need.

    Must Listen for Christian Men
Every Christian man needs to listen to this, especially pastors. One of the primary issues of the day is a lack masculinity among men and feminist among women. The church will continue to lose men to the Absaloms of this world like Jordan Peterson, Andrew Tate, and Bronze Age Pervert if it does not confront the feminization of Christianity.

    The Taylor Swift Episode
Eric at his best. I try to listen to these guys even though I have theological differences b/c they get it. And when they have view points that are disagreeable you can tell they aren’t just saying it but that they have thought through the issue (even if you disagree).

    Cannot Recommend Enough
This is a great show with great relevant content for Christian men and families today!

Soft Men posing as Hard Men, whatever that is
First question I have for these hard men, whose title isn’t kid friendly by the way. A bunch of hard men congregating in like some broken mountain cowboys, it’s weird. What is hard about these men, exactly? He could have served his country when it was at war for 20 years. That’s pretty masculine. The content is dry and overused. Just listen to Joe Rogan or some other ā€œmanly manā€ (read: men victims) if you need a self-esteem boost. There are plenty peddling books and trying to glam for the ā€˜gram.

    Great podcast
Awesome with nothing held back and gut punches galore to keep you on your toes and staying frosty. Highly recommend.

A masculinity podcast that doesn't shy away from politics and current events!
I like the unapologetically Christian world view espoused here. I think this podcast is in the "Christian nationalism" camp, as that's what they make the case for resoundingly. But they also have a number of interviews with various experts on more individualistically, pragmatic topics, health, fitness, relationships, community and actually some of the episodes on career and entrepreneurship I found very illuminating!
  • Kevin M, P,
    So good
I love this podcast we need more like this. I was going though reading all the one star reviews and there all really dumb and seeing that the rating is 4.6 I thought I would send a review. We need more hard men in this world.

    Phenomenal
Great content in every episode to encourage Christian men in our challenging society. Thoughtful and challenging and empowering.
  • Cheesewastaken
    Sexist
The authors equate softness and sensitivity to femininity, negativity, weakness, and sin. THIS IS NOT TRUE. THIS IS NOT BIBLICAL. Jesus himself was a soft spoken, emotionally sensitive human—and He was simultaneously THE MOST POWERFUL, INFLUENTIAL MAN TO WALK THE EARTH.
  • emaheg
    Jesus put women first
Your religion is predicated on a man (Jesus) deciding women would be the first to know he’d risen from the dead, making them the first to share this news. Jesus put women first. Jesus was ok with the women *telling the men* the good news. You seem to miss the point that that upended centuries-old hierarchies held by the culture. Jesus upended hierarchies. Why are you trying to force everyone back into them? Oh right; for the same reason Empire always does. Power. I guess that’s what gets you hard…
  • Heimdaddy
    I’m not even catholic
Had to turn off the episode today as Eric and his guest began mocking and belittling Catholics. We are all Christian’s. It’s not a competition. Grow up
  • Poiuytreq
    Can’t stop listening
Found this via another podcast (Now that We’re a Family) and can’t stop listening. The content is great and so relevant for men who want to raise the Children in the Lord, who want to love their wife as Christ loved the church, and who want to lead others in what it means to be a man of God. Eric and his guest are hilarious too!

    Just not for me
I'm not into watching men get hard, but I gave this podcast a shot out of curiosity. It's not my thing but if you enjoy that sort of thing you may get a kick out of it.

Take heart! All of the negative comments obviously mean your doing something right! I especially love the Bull Rapier conversation, a follow up would be awesome!

    Must Listen!
This is definitely one of the best podcasts out here that dives deep into what the Bible says a man should look like. This is a must if you’re a Christian man that wants to walk out godly masculinity.
