    Gone downhill
I used to love this show I find its guests increasingly self-obsessed and disregarding of systemic power structures and so can no longer listen to it credibly.

    Such Richness!
Wendy Is an extraordinarily intelligent interlocutor who draws out of a very wide range of researchers essential nuggets that listeners from a wide range of backgrounds can integrate into our own emerging understanding of how our minds do (and do not) work! What a gift this is. A model of compassionate dialogue. No ego, no posturing, no one-up-mansbip. Just pure, mutual, and generous curiosity. THIS is how we can learn from one another — with open minds & open hearts, as the Dalai Lama likes to say—with his chuckle.

Mind & Life - Dr. Barsalou
Another discussion that is extremely helpful for anyone that wants to understand the underpinnings of neurobiology. Why isn’t Dr. Barsalou on every podcast having to do with mindfulness like Ten Percent Happier and Well Being with Dr. Rick Hanson? Thank God for Wendy’s brilliant interviewing skills! She makes all the material understandable!

    Intelligent, Sensible, Wise
I don’t listen to podcasts often, but since I found it, I make the time to listen to the Mind and Life Podcast. These wonderful talks always make me feel more informed and hopeful afterwards. Each episode gives me information that helps me to be more able to understand - and cope - with the monumental changes our planet and most of human society is experiencing right now. The host, Wendy Hasenkamp does an outstanding job of interviewing truly outstanding guests, folks who are at the forefront/crossroads of both spirituality and science. Her wise, light interview style is great - as good as Krista Tippet’s or Terry Gross’s; she asks insightful, excellent questions that help guests share their passion and knowledge succinctly and clearly. Highly recommended!

    Staying Power
I have been enjoying this podcast since the inaugural episode with Thupten Jinpa. It’s been a pleasure to hear it evolve into a fascinating library of diverse perspectives on the interplay between contemplative science and many deep questions about our contemporary dilemmas and crises. Wendy is such a warm and skilled conversationalist, with deep grounding in the science and a wide-ranging curiosity, that every episode is an adventure in intellectual exploration.
