Trevman138This podcast fills a huge hole in our professionThe EMS lighthouse project features modern trials and studies, and breaks them down into palatable sets of information that applies to your practice every day as a paramedic. You owe it to your patients to be well informed about evidence based concepts relating to prehospital medicine. What information would normally take years to trickle down onto the streets is presented right away for us monkeys who have difficulty interpreting medical journals. Love it guys, keep it up

WI MedicGood science - not just for nerdsExcellent & pertinent podcast. Solid way for EMS professionals to learn why we do what we do. Down to earth but not "dumbed-down" explanations. Thanks!

Aaa641580531Need more of this! This is great. It’s like an EMS World science journal club. Wait wait, this type of science is actually fun to listen to! They go over essential papers, explain the science and results, and why it’s important to what we do out in the field. I love understanding the why we do and don’t do things in prehospital care. We definitely need more of this to further develop an evidence-based approach to all levels of EMS.

@CaseyEGreat Podcast!Dr Jarvis and Mike have started something great! The content thus far has been phenomenal! Cannot wait to see what the future holds. Keep up the great work!

BrianMIkeLynchHelpful EMS/EM ResourceOften in EMS education, the mantra is "See this...do this." Mike and Dr. Jarvis unpack the "do this" portion and explain how and why prehospital medicine works with a thorough review of the evidence. I am learning how to better interpret research and apply it to clinical practice from listening to this podcast.

AustinBrittAMAZINGThis is a great podcast for anyone wanting to expand their medical knowledge base with research to back it up. Great banter and relatable hosts that make you laugh while you learn. They also make it really easy to understand. 10/10 have already recommended to MANY people and will continue to!
