“Maybe get off the podcast and manage risk” hilarious!

Josh: Interviews the CEO of Crowdstrike. On next week’s podcast… Josh: Am I one of those people that influences you to buy specific stocks. Michael: No. But I did just buy Crowdstrike. LOL. These guys contradict themselves all the time. It’s funny to hear it if you pay attention.

I’ve listened since the pod started. Enjoyed the show. Only criticism is their anti-Trump bias. I would respect it more if they didn’t try to hide it. I realize it’s difficult to disentangle politics but that’s not why I signed up for this show. I unfollowed and may return next cycle.

This illogical, obtuse, ahistorical and childish tariff war is destroying the market and world order, and you guys are laughing along with Trump’s MAGA bros? You should gave been warning your listeners about the dangers of this crew, not giving them an uncritical soap box!

I follow about 12 podcasts across diverse genres but will always listen to TCAF first because it is easily my favorite. I think Josh and Michael are smart, funny, down-to-earth and all-around entertaining!

I’ve been enjoying this show for the last year but the last episode certainly seemed like a political soapbox. Normally a good back-and-forth, but little pushback to the outlandish claims definitely makes it seem more politically charged than normal. Hopefully just a one-off.

Josh and Co do a great job and part of the reason why is they’re very good at being mostly nonpartisan. Today’s tedious Trump and Elon fanboi stump speech by Joe Lonsdale really messed up that carefully managed vibe. This guy was a gross self-promoter and basically licked Elon and Trump for 45 minutes. Gross. No helpful insights can be gained by uberpartisan kool-aid peddlers.

Great educational trading resource! Now I know indicators. Update: stop talking about politics stop talking about Trump, your MAGA hat is showing. I sent a client to the firm and they listened to the pod from last week and said - no thanks. 5 star to 3 boo.

The show used to be informative now it’s 95% filler, self promotion, and dry guests. It’s basically background noise at this point

I love this show one of my favorites. I like Josh ‘s honesty and directness but lately the show is getting political. Probably the compound he works with is more political than Josh Brown . If it continues I will bail ..

I’ve been listening to this show for years before it was rebranded as The Compound and Friends. I’m not even in the financial industry (SMB owner, own a tree service in CA) , but absolutely love every single show that comes out! I can’t recommend this show enough; Josh and Mike you know how to put on a stellar pod! Love all the guests, love all the information and love the general vibe. I’m always excited when I see a new showing in my feed. Keep up the great work!

Good show if you work in finance and investments and a fun listen. But every show for next 4 years will be Josh taking shots at Trump pretty much no matter what. Leave that petty garbage out. (It’s my show I’ll do what I want you still listen yada yada)

Great and insightful conversation from Josh and the team. However, they like some similar podcasts, seem to be gearing themselves towards their YouTube channel to the detriment of podcast listeners. They continuously are referencing charts they show on video that we can’t see on a podcast. Pretty frustrating experience that really distracts from an otherwise great show.

Because Josh isn’t on that one. Josh is both ignorant and arrogant. Hard to listen

I love the show. I learn a lot and can’t wait for the latest show.

I like hearing Josh’s heartfelt opinions. I don’t agree with him on politics but I always enjoy hearing others’ perspectives nevertheless. Same with hearing others’ perspectives on stocks. That’s how you learn.

Josh is obnoxious. Replace him with someone else then it’s 5 stars.

Guys: Your show is a national treasure. Why? Because we are an uninformed society that without your opinions , facts and history telling we would remain ignorant about the workings of our nation.

This show is outstanding. I manage mine, mom’s, wife’s, and 2 adult kiddos accounts because we’re an old school Hispanic family from the westside of San Antonio so it has to stay in house baby. This show shares insight but more importantly the right mindset to deal.

This show was amazing they would get on unique smart people with various views and lots interesting digestible information. They have put this millennial robot on the show 3 times now and find it to be a slog to listen to the episode every time. Not trying to be a hater, she seems very knowledgeable but Michael and Josh are very conversational which is needed on a podcast. That’s why everyone loves the Jill on Money episodes. Please find people that are easier to speak with and less data heads…

As a professional commodities trader my urge to dabble in stocks is strong. Josh and Michael help keep me sane and informed. Their views on personal finance and the markets are distilled and long term. It is refreshing to hear calm and rational voices in the sea of noise. Thank you for entertaining me during the long hours on a trading desk.

This is definitely worth listening to. I really enjoy the occasional humor and pop culture references. Josh usually brings in great guests. Unfortunately, Batnick is sometimes loud and obnoxious. He likes to interrupt people. I deducted 1 star because of him. The What Are Your Thoughts? episodes have improved recently with the regular appearances of Nick Colas from DataTrek.

Love this show. Entertaining and always want to hear what Josh has to say about investing.

These people just shoot the bull about the market and the economy. Very entertaining, relaxing to listen to. Not sure if there’s much actionable investing advise, but I don’t think that’s their goal.

In 2022, the show was a good guiding voice for reasonable behavior and caution. It really cautioned people about risks and problems. In 2024, they have completed transition to full on FOMO and YOLO pushing every sell-side idea. Josh is clearly lost in bragging about what he created; he wants to melt up like Dan Ives. Michael is real like his counterpart on Animal Spirits, Ben. AS is now clearly the better show.

I love Josh but love him more when he is wrong (cuz hes so arrogant). He has been hyping Crowdstrike for months and the fact this "security" company just destroyed their reputation in the stupidest way ever is gold. They will be sued into bankruptcy

Great chemistry between hosts, always interesting material. A must listen for anyone that works in financial services.

TCAF, WAYT, and Animal Spirits are the trifecta of shows that has the perfect blend of education and entertainment. Lectures tend to be boring regardless of how much you like the topic. Entertainment usually won’t teach you a whole lot. That’s exactly what these shows offer. Josh Brown, Michael Batnick, and Ben Carlson have amazing chemistry and knowledge. I genuinely feel like I’m listening to friends chit chat. They don’t always agree and everything, which is refreshing.

A weekly must listen. Josh and Mike make an hour and a half seem like 30 mins.

Stephanie Link was great! It’s very cool to hear Josh on a podcast with his CNBC cast-mates. Now, wen Najarian’s? That would be epic.

These guys really have the pulse of the market. But what makes them the best is the way the way they zero in to the heart of the matter.

Josh salt of the earth brown is the best

Not only is it my favorite investment podcast but it’s my favorite all genre podcast. Make no mistake; Josh Brown is Salt of the Earth in the streets but a freak in the spreadsheets. 10 Stars.

Not sure who that Callie is— unlistenable. Not much depth there with actual true market knowledge— I think she reads twitter for insights.

Josh Brown please revisit “Salt of the Earth” definition. Proud Union Longshoreman for 40 plus years here. On my whiteboard at work: ‘Work. Save. Invest.’ When I can wrestle the remote from fellow workers at breaks and lunch - I will flip on CNBC. When you are on I say ‘Listen up Downtown Josh Brown is talking!’ ‘This guy is the Salt of the Earth.’ Meaning - a very good and honest person, down to earth, unpretentious. I never miss an episode of “The Compound and Friends” podcast. I highly recommend it to any and all who want to learn and laugh to do the same. Six stars if I could. I hope you take this as a compliment - I have no doubt you would hold up your end down on the docks.

Never thought a financial podcast could be entertaining, these guys pulled it off. Informative and fun.

TCAF is my favorite investing podcast. Josh & Michael, keep up the excellent work. From a retired Wharton MBA in Finance, raised in Queens, but living in Texas for the last 45 years, and fully focused on investing for the last 8 years.

I’ll start with a couple little issues. 1. Josh hates Twitter/Elon Musk and finds a way to bash them almost every episode 2. They spend too much time talking about restaurants in NYC. No one cares that you think that restaurant on 5th avenue is better than the one in Brooklyn Apart from these two minor annoyances, this is the best finance podcast in the business. Always worth your time. As a fellow bald, Michael is the man.

I feel like I’m back on the trading floor listening to this podcast. They tell it like it is and I enjoy their sense of humor as well.

These guys are truly in a league of their own. Between the banter, guests, and current market discussions, you won’t find a better business and investing podcast out there.

Fun listen with good chemistry between the hosts and guests

Love these guys! They are really entertaining and provide excellent financial content on the markets. They also dive into market analysis and why the markets are moving the way they are, while being hilarious at the same time.

They have become the worst, was a financial show, but there agenda is clear, they talk about democratic spending, no mention of the 8 trillion of debt their pal added to our countries debt , last podcast was my last - bye (also not going to miss that horrible LI accent)
