NANI?!?Mom of a high school graduate/audiophileI just finished listening to episode 247. You guys…. I soooooo appreciated your advice on work-life balance. My 18-year-old son will be starting an audio engineer and production school in the fall. My husband has his own company, to which I sometimes think my son does not know there is such a thing as a vacation (we haven’t done many). Both father and son love to work, and I love them both, and like to try to keep their brains intact. Your words are priceless, and helpful to me who is beginning to learn about my sons future industry. Keep up the great work! Mia

Lew in ChicagoLike itGood content. The dramatic volume difference between participants and laughter straight into microphone is distracting.

BadHabetz67Those dudes…I have been in pro audio for almost 3 decades, listening to these dudes talk has been a reminder of why I am passionate about this industry and love what I do. Meeting new people and making lifelong friends along the way are the perks. Keep up the good work fellas

NoJoy-NoOlympicsExcellent Live Sound Podcast!S2N Episode 31 was great! Loved the conversation with Jeff Hawley. The “hear a trumpet in your mind” experiment reminded me of how easy it is to trick ourselves into thinking we are hearing something that we really aren’t, such as adjusting EQ just right, only to later realize we adjusted the wrong channel or the EQ was enabled!! But we were convinced we heard the change (or am I the only one who has done that?). The difference between vibrations and what we think we hear is hugely influenced by our mind / perception and as audio engineers, we need to be aware of this. It’s not just a fun late night conversation over tacos, it has practical ramifications. Love the podcast, keep it up!
