Blake is a reminder of why the US is ranked 36th in literacy. She sounds uneducated, small minded and illiterate. 54% of American citizens can’t read past a 6th grade reading level, but many of them have podcasts. Blake Guichet has entered the chat. A beefy armed Bible thumper with a hardened heart who sets our society back. Unfortunately, there aren’t many redeemable qualities about this host. Blake has an ugly heart that has been calcified and hardened by her skewed, often extreme view of Christianity. She lacks empathy, self awareness and clearly has a superiority complex. If you really care about freedom, but you don't think it applies to everyone, then what you really care is privilege. She is proof that when you have been privileged your entire life, equality feels like oppression.

The focus has shifted from Jesus to politics, and promoting a dictator.

Finally, someone saying all the things I keep thinking. Now, to get others to actually HEAR it. Ty!

This show is not rooted in Christian values or principles. Its rooted in Christian Nationalism which is promoting SOME Christian views, in order to achieve prominence or dominance in political and social life. This is not the way of Jesus. Jesus’s call is not to establish his kingdom in the United States but to establish a different sort of kingdom, one that conquers sin and death through love and forgiveness. It’s almost as if this show’s host believe’s the US is where Jesus is trying to establish his kingdom. This podcast provides partial truths because the ultimate goal is to promote President Trump’s values/agenda, not Jesus’ agenda. It has become a Donald Trump commercial. I used to be subscribed because I could identify with trying my best to be a good Christian and struggled with past shame. But to have a whole episode demonizing DEI initiatives when this has nothing to do with the kingdom of Jesus and masking it as Christian values? Building a following by speaking your mind publicly, especially about things you disagree with, but never ever publicly disagreeing with the current president, even when some of his actions or policies are anti-biblical? It takes away from the validity of the content of this podcast for me. And I don’t even care for politics. I do not lean one way or another. I choose the Jesus way. I choose loving God above all things and loving my neighbor as myself. I think being able to sit down with someone you disagree with and look at them and fully love them without the “buts” is the true mark of the love Jesus spoke about. This show isn’t that. The host specifically picks people who will say something to add to the story she is trying to sell. If you want anything resembling real facts from a Christian perspective, there are plenty other shows out there. I don’t recommend giving this a listen if you’re looking for even a hint about what following Christ is truly about.

Blake is the type of friend I wish I had. Thank you for not being afraid to speak truth and cover topics that Christians don’t always cover. We are on the same wavelength, girl.

Man, I love Blake! She’s educated, informative and eloquent. She does not mince words. She pulls in so many people that are so insightful and informational. So thankful for her political insights.

She’s had Alex Jones on and fawned over his every word. This is manipulated Christianity to fit her agenda.

This woman just makes me cringe. Thinks she’s an expert on everything but isn’t an expert on anything, other than on how to shill the trend of the day, get overwhelmed by “teaching” her kids, and be a hypocrite and act holier-than-thou (every vice she enjoys is covered by “being against legalism”; Democrats are the most vicious evil people when they call MAGA supporters mean names, except then Blake does it right back; rinse, repeat). Clearly I’m not a conservative Christian but there are so many of them I respect - Blake isn’t one of them.

I have been following Blake on IG for almost a year now. I continue to go back to her page for encouragement. She’s real and raw! It’s beautiful! I recently started listening to her podcasts, and I can’t stop. I am in awe of Blake and her obedience as a woman of God. She speaks boldly, and talks about the nitty gritty on such a compassionate level. She’s incredibly authentic and relatable. I recommend listening to her! I scrolled and found a few topics that related to me and I’m so thankful and haven’t stopped listening. Her podcasts speak volumes!

I’ve been listening to Blake and her podcast for years now. It is by far my favorite. Never too shy to cover taboo topics, make people feel seen and heard. Always learn so much about culture, Bible, politics and more. I love this podcast all around!

I found Blake’s podcast and IG account in 2024 and I’m SO grateful that I did!!! Her voice is so needed and has helped me be aware of what is going on in the world while also remaining grounded in my faith and God’s truth. Thank you, Blake for using your voice in such a powerful way!!

Conversations aren’t hard in an echo chamber. That’s all this is. You claim every guest is “your favorite person on the internet.” Pretty insincere. You don’t behave or talk very Christian like but act morally superior to everyone else especially those you don’t agree with politically. Better real Christian podcasts out there.

Do yourself a favor, and listen to this weekly! Blake is wise and bold, but also the most down-to-earth, compassionate communicator. She takes topics that are important, hard, and maybe even uncomfortable at times, and makes them easier to understand with a tone of encouragement and with Jesus as her center and compass. This podcast has been so meaningful in my life. I appreciate her willingness to listen to the Holy Spirit and creating a safe space for real conversation!

I came across this podcast half way through last year and have been loving catching up. Only regret is that it took me this long to start listening. Blake is so down to earth, full of so much wisdom, and truly feels like a long lost friend.

This podcast is a must listen - I love Blake’s perspective on current events, faith, politics - all the things. Even when I don’t agree with her on certain topics I still love the way she approaches everything and there have been many times after hearing her out I started looking at things a little differently which I think we all need more of. Def listen to this podcast! It’s worth your time!

I was looking for a relatable podcast when this one caught my eye circa 2021, and this one has been my “go-to” ever since. The range of topics helped me realize I’m not alone in the things I think about, talk about, or question as a “down to earth” follower of Jesus…I don’t mean only things concerning the Bible but about worldviews, emotions, things deemed “political,” and even day to day subjects that remain unspoken by your average Christian community. This podcast is an easy listen while going deep into both lighthearted and heavy subjects. I can never guess what might be in store for the next episode.

The Crappy Christian podcast literally changed my life. I love that Blake takes hard topics and makes them relevant and accessible. I was not confident in my Christianity or my political view but Blake has given me confident in my own views and beliefs and in sharing them with others. I cannot wait to see what the Speakeasy will bring!

I love this podcast because I can take something away from every episode. Whether it’s Christianity, motherhood, marriage, politics or culture, there are just so many good nuggets in each episode. This most recent election season was the most I’ve ever been invested in politics and I learned so much from this podcast so I’m excited for more long form conversations in this new year.
