I was made aware of this podcast from Brandi Carlile’s Instagram. The interview was engaging, hilarious, and I learned a lot about food. The hosts are divine and great interviewers. A shout out to “The Charity Lady”. LOL!

The podcast is great, but I’m not interested in listening to billionaires.

I just listened to my first episode (Sharon Horgan) and absolutely loved it. Northern Irish girl here living in California and to listen to stories about British & Irish nostalgic foods and experiences while I’m out walking my dog…well, I can’t wait to listen to more 🩵 ~Aly

I first learned of this podcast when you interviewed Paul and Mary McCartney, and I was fascinated! Loved going back to some of the older episodes!

I’ve only just recently discovered this brilliant podcast. I don’t know what it is about listening to this mum and daughter duo — but they are fabulous. I adore the range of people that they interview — always an interesting/entertaining conversation. The relationship and banter between Jessie and Lennie is intoxicatingly heartwarming and makes me ache for a good old chat with my own mum. Also, I have to agree with a few other reviews… listening to them eat and chew is rather addicting and oddly satisfying. Best of luck on all your future podcast endeavors. Honestly where have I been the past 5 years ?! I’ve just discovered this podcast in November 2023. And I’ve been going thru the back catalog. It is such a joy to listen. It’s funny and captivating and hella entertaining. I’ve been a big fan of Jesse’s music. Now I just love her and her mom Lenny so much.

This brings me so much joy. I often listen on subway rides and flights - the conversation keeps me happily distracted. I get so many restaurant tips that I often have to stop and take notes. There’s such an ease to the conversation - which speaks volumes about the enviable relationship Jessie and Lennie share. This is a 10/10 every time.

Love this podcast have been binging from the Midwest! Just listened to the Tom jones episode which was excellent. Perfect podcast for chores around the house, so comforting.

I absolutely love this program. Jessie and Lennie feel like family. Not episode goes by where I do not laugh, salivate, and feel comforted. It is easily re-listenable. I have listened to Alan Carr’s episode at least 4 times. I will never miss it as long as it is produced and I can hear!

Lennie and Jessie make my day every time I listen to them! I laugh and smile the whole way through. They have amazing guests and talk food-what could be better! I just wish I could pull up a chair at the table they sit around with their guests.

Bought tickets to the widely publicised LA show in Dec as a birthday gift for a dear British friend who is an expat. Flew in from Denver (sadly, not first class Virgin Atlantic!), took a 1.5 hour Uber, went to venue only to find they knew nothing of the show. There was actually a wake going on in the adjacent cemetery! On 4/24 episode they say the cancellation was beyond their control, but I have to believe it could have been communicated better. Luckily, dear friend & I had a good (albeit very expensive) laugh about the adventure.

I just recently discovered this podcast and BOY OH BOY, has it been a godsend during global quarantine. There is enough structure to facilitate wonderful conversations, but it’s not so rigid that answers start to sound canned. You can hear the appreciation guests have for Jessie and Lennie’s hospitality and lovely home cooking as well as their cheeky banter. I’m also a yank and a sucker for Brit slang and chatter, so it’s really A+ all around. Subscribe NOW, and listen while you cook, puzzle, walk your dog, whatever. So good! Thanks gals. UPDATE: still love this pod, but Jessie and Lennie has a bad habit of interrupting their guests, which is especially annoying when the latter is trying to explain something. Just let them finish!

I am beyond delighted!!! After going through cooking fatigue from my pandemic lockdown lifestyle this has ignited my cooking passion and continued my love of Jessie. What a thrill to have my two favs combined in this episode! I have loved Laura Mvula since my daughter introduced me to her music in 2013. (can’t wait for her new album release and hoping🤞for a US tour soon!). Jesse and Lennie became a part of my world when I discovered Table Manners a year ago - they were my daily companions as I caught up on all the back episodes - while on walks, in the garden, while cleaning house, working...
