A show that offers a somewhat quick review of the week’s news, though often interrupted by plugs promoting Leftist politicians and Leftist agendas by the program’s staff and guests. Lately (October 2024), this show is promoting groomers and a sexual political agenda. In November 2024, the host referenced the F-bomb in a description of the Republican Party’s favorable results in the election. In another episode, a panelist is apparently a groomer. In the same month, the two guests of the show were part of a grooming-promoting TV series. And WWDTM chose to have grooming as an affirmation portion of their Thanksgiving special. WWDTM, we just want to laugh about the news. We do not need a sexual political agenda foisted on us weekly or every other week. UPDATE: Waited several months and gave WWDTM another try (April 2025). Still left of center politics…and one of the panelists is a groomer.

Unfortunately I can’t listen to Wait Wait anymore. Since Trump’s election I stay away from news that relates to him or his SS Chief. It’s too depressing. I doubt the podcast will stop stories about him because it’s too big a target for humor and so much of the news is inundated with the topic but it’s just not funny anymore for me. I wish them the best of luck . Perhaps I can listen again in 2029 if they’re not imprisoned for being dissidents.

What happened to the original jokes and humor of comedians like maz jobrani and hari condobolu? It’s now just celebrities stating their opinions on things people don’t care about.

Good show! Entertaining to listen to at work but Peter segal sure does interrupt and speak over his guests a lot.

I’ve been listening to WWTDM every week since I was a kid and it’s my favorite podcast. I love Peter Sagal’s humor and interviewing style. And hands down, Chioki is my favorite announcer! I wish he would be there full-time.

Without Peter, the 2/8 show was like a bunch of dopey teens acting like morons with their sound effects and carrying on - this is the first show in about 20 years where I gave up 15 min in. Please come back Peter! We need an adult back in the room.

Peter is a pro. Bill is fantastic. Guests are great. Just skip the episodes that Negin Farsad hosts. Absolutely horrible, poorly timed attempts at humor. Dulcé is obnoxiously loud, I think she blew the speakers out in my car with her exaggerated cackling.

This show is just an amazing collection of all the weeks news, posted by Peter Sejal, and a bunch of hilarious comedians with just the funniest content. If you don’t believe this, just listen to it give it a little if you don’t like it you don’t like it. But at least try it cause it is amazing(in my opinion) into all of those saying, these comedians are screechy,get your speakers fixed, because they are usually the funniest

I have listened to WWDTM for decades, so I was intrigued to hear you had a “TikTok host” on your panel this week. Sorry to say, she fell flat. Please stick with the stand ups.

I try to listen to every show, but my rule is to tune out after the first, fart joke, vomit reference or “sausage” joke. Needless to say I rarely get through the first segment or two. Thanks NPR for contributing to the dumbing down of America with your fourth rate fourth grade humor. Actually, I take that back, after seeing who just got elected, fourth grade is probably more of a smartening up than a dumbing down. Doesn’t matter anyway, I doubt anyone who voted for him listens to NPR at all, it would be too hard to spell.

every episode when the host receives a call from a listener i can imagine denizens of the person's place of residence holding their breaths wondering "will he give our beloved hometown his almighty stamp of approval - 'i've heard of it, nice place!' - or the dreaded 'unfamiliar, when is this backwoods nowheresville to be found prey tell'" otherwise it is a good, original format, well produced.

I love this show. Intelligent, witty, clever and spontaneous. My only gripe is the intermixi g of the episodes with bonus material. I appreciate the extras but when I'm driving, I don't want those extras messing up my pod cast play list. We need a way to separate them so I can choose what I listen to instead of having to fumble with the controls whilst driving. Can we do this?

Defund NPR!

I’m a long time listener and love the show. Please stop putting other shows in the feed on a weekly basis. Put an episode in once in a while and if they’re good enough they’ll stand on their own.

Love the show! Love almost all the hosts. But please, please voice over Negin Farsad. I truly feel bad saying it, but it’s like nails on a chalk board & I dramatically wanna stick a nice pic in my ear drum. And it’s such a bummer to not be able to listen to so many episodes because of their voice. I’m sure they are an incredible person, but …

One star because now I’m getting episodes of other shows in addition to the show I subscribed to. I was annoyed when I thought it was a one-off teaser episode. This week is the.. third, maybe fourth? Fire Chad or Suzy or whoever in marketing for this one. I may just drop the subscription if it continues.

Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me is the high light of my week. I have been an enthusiastic listener for years. The conversation and guests are always interesting and the comedy has me laughing out loud!! Keep up the great work. BUT PLEASE GET RID OF How To Do Everything. PLEASE remove it from the WWDTM feed ASAP. It is not smart or useful or entertaining. The episode about tooth brushes etc was completely ridiculous and a waste of time. Not funny, not clever and incredibly irritating I will never get that time back! I would ordinarily never consider writing a bad review. But this episode was so horrible, I just had to write it.

Please, I beg of you, make this a separate feed or mercy kill it

Talk tuah is way better not only is Talk tuah way better than this trash it also makes the best experience in your life. There’s nothing like listening to the talk tuah podcast, eating a lunchly, and having a prime to wash it all down.

It isn’t “WWTDM” it is “WWDTM” a lot of things about the episode on September 21 2024 is not regular in a bad way

I LOVE this show. Like, I’ve been a consistent listener every weekend for almost 2 decades. But the last year or two of episodes have been concerning to me — I love most of the panelists, especially Tom Papa, Negin Farsad, and Alonzo Bodden, but Peter Sagal has become strangely rude to many of the call-in guests (and not in a funny way) and talks over many of the celebrity guests. In a recent show with Gary Oldman, he barely let Oldman talk or show any of his personality. Sagal also was rude to a woman who called in who had a name from a song, and when he asked her if she was named after the song, she gave a long answer about why she WASN’T, and he replied by saying that she should just say she WAS because people would get bored of her real story. That episode left a very bad taste in my mouth and it’s been hard to move past that. I would love to see someone else take the reins of the show, such as Tom Papa or Negin Farsad — who are incredible guest hosts — and hear more from Chioke I’Anson as an alternating moderator with Bill Kurtis.

As a fellow BRIAN, the misspelling of his name as BRAIN in the episode description should have been caught by editors.

Wait Wait is one of my favorite shows. But I stopped subscribing when NPR stuffed Everyone and their Mom in the same feed. It was pretty clear from other reviews that listeners didn’t want this. I didn’t want it. A different show belongs in its own feed—not here. When NPR finally dropped it, I resubscribed. But now NPR is polluting the feed again with How To Do Everything. Again: different show…put it in its own feed. Meanwhile, I’m unsubscribing. Again.

He’s really the only thing I enjoy about the show at this point. I hate Joyelle in particular

This is a great show with funny panelists and smart guests. I miss the days of Paula Poundstone, Alonzo Boden, and Roy Blount Jr. being on regularly, but it’s still fun and informative. Thank you for the weekly entertainment!
