Keith4634LimitedI like Eamon on sports but his shallow takes on politics and current affairs can be safely ignored.

angrylfShines a light on issue in a effective non-American-media mannerGreat show - doesn’t pander to the left or the right - if you are looking to have a particular point of view upheld, look elsewhere

SumSt8BalanceLove the show & always look forward to the football analysis from the 3 amigos. When it comes to discussing politics in the US, Stanage isn’t the best to have on all the time. I actually don’t listen to those shows anymore. I’m a Waterford man living in New Hampshire for 25 years and as we’re first in the nation voters I’ve seen a lot of debate through the years. Balance it up with someone from the center/center right. I consider myself socially liberal, fiscally conservative so not really represented in either party but I can see the arguments on both sides.

XyvuhdfuhuvuZero balance, not a real reflection of what is happeningI have listened to several US orientated podcasts. The lack of context and true objectivity is alarming. Niall Stanage is about as one sided as you can get and is the opposite of transparent journalism. The constant Trump bashing is getting old - we get it, orange man bad all the time. But the man has been out of power for almost two years now. Whether he regains his office is a question for democracy and I believe over 75 million voted for him last time out. Perhaps Eamo can investigate why some many people feel this way ? As but one of many examples: While Eamo can express disgust at the “treatment” of Venezuelan migrants and sympathize with the 48 hour plight of some of the richest people on the planet by being exposed to such horrors, he fails to understand or question the broader issue at play. The border is broken and US Border towns are expected to deal with a massive influx of migrants but instead he focuses on Martha’s Vineyard getting a taste of the medicine they asked for with their hypocritical virtue signaling. The core issue is ignored. Just like he ignores the out of control Inflation, insane energy policies, weak foreign policy and the odious scandals of Biden and Hilary Clinton. You want to hold people accountable ? Fine, but focusing on only one out of power president while ignoring the massive incompetence and corruption of the current administration while blindly agreeing with a partisan so called journalist from The Hill is lazy journalism.

Charles Martel IIISocialist clap trapI agree. It does sound like 3 or 4 angry yippies who cannot deviate one iota from their Marxist playbook.

JonomalOther viewsCould really do with a different point of view from the US besides that left wing Niall Stanage. He mentions irrelevant news about Congresswomen Bobert and the comments she made about congresswoman Omar, but failed to mention the daily anti-semitism spewing from Omar’s disgusting hateful mouth.

dillo1888Stanage and dunphyI’m irish and living in New York the past 12 years. Dunphy, you’re so out of touch of what is happening over here it’s embarrassing. Educate yourself and get off that CNN. You have no clue. Check your comments on every trump podcast you put up. As for that Stanage. He is an absolute joke. Supposed to be an impartial journalist. Never once a mention of the protests, looting , burning and shooting. All in democratic run states. Not one mention. Ever. Absolute disgrace . Get the finger out.

BenoBhoy67Episode 877Spot on they are now part of the establishment !! Sounds like lots of excuse making in soft terms. Please change the outdated blue color language, we are living in a much more diverse society. Really enjoy the pod casts, especially as I’m NYC. Keep up the good work and varied content. 👍🗽💪

GruffindoooorFF endorsements reduce impartiality credibilityYou cannot expect to be seen as impartial when this show is clearly a supporter of FF, old and new.
-
SchweizerEinsGood contentInteresting guests and an attempt at an earnest discussion with the intent of informing rather than titillating.

GMBrianHCProlific and InformativeA broad range of subjects and gives me a great link to back home, listening in from Boston. Eamon, we love you. Keep up the hard work. Finally “that is not the ar$e of a £7m player, Bill.”

pam6481Creating balance: the Ben Lowry interviewHello Eamonn, I’ve been a fan of yours for many, many years. But, I must say, the recent work you are doing on giving a voice to the unionist tradition is some of your best ever. I have long sought out thoughtful representatives of that tradition, so I could understand more. I hope you have many more conversations with Ben Lowry. Thanks! Peter

Niamh416Neil FrancisNeil was and continues to be way too hard on Andy Farrell. There has to be some underlying issue that he’s not telling us about. Writing an article about “if Andy was the right choice” right after they beat Scotland, way out of order Neil. They beat Scotland, not convincingly but they did. Then they beat Wales, when Neil was overly confident that they hadn’t a chance in hell. And he still wasn’t given Andy his dues. Come on Neil!! In saying that, I love when he’s on your podcast. Eamon, keep up the great podcasts I can’t get enough of them. Cheers, Seamus

Eamo1236The Stand with EamonnMr. Dunphy is opinionated, very opinionated but that is the gem of this podcast. I rarely agree with his point of few but I respect his willingness to allow both sides of an argument to develop.

Richie Irish BoyGreat to hear EamonExcellent podcast. Eamon Dunphy has been one of my favorite journalists for over 20 years and its great to hear him still going strong. Always enjoy listening to the Stand.
