I always fee like I’ve gained something from these. Tidbits of aquarium lore, solutions to fish keeping problems, and just plain reflections on life with a positive attitude -without the saccharine. But if I was thinking about starting my own business, I’d be taking notes!

The one thing about Corey is the man has integrity. He wants to give you best and sell you the best. He isn’t just out here to take your money. He wants to ensure he provides you with the best possible product at the best price. This podcast is no difference. Insane amounts of high quality information. For free ! It’s a must listen.

I watch them on YouTube and shop often online. Pretty much buy everything I can from them. About a year and a half ago I purchased 2 male crowntail Bettas, (2) .5 “aquariums” for bettas, sponge Bob pineapple/ skull for them to hide in and some gravel to match the fishes colors, anything that said it was for a Betta brought them home for my twin boy, which really I was more excited for than they were. I added the drops to some filtered water and fed them, fully cleaned their small enclosures twice weekly and grew to love those 2 fish. I was ignorant to believe that I was giving them proper care! As they grew I purchased a 3 gallon all in one kit for each of them, wanted a natural look so got some plants and rid of the colorful nightmare but still knew nothing about the cycle or disease… until my fish got fin rot. I went on Google search and found YouTube channels with so much different info my head could explode. I felt horrible for my fish friends! I went down a rabbit hole which was expensive. Until one day I was listening to Corey talk about sticking with 1 experienced persons advice that sounds right and makes sense for you. That there is no one right way or anyone who knows everything about this hobby. It changed everything for me that day. I have a whole fish room now and thankfully still have 1 of the 2 Bettas I started with. The other one passed last week of what I would say was old age bc they are well cared for in heavily planted ecosystems! I’m no longer frustrated and enjoy my fish and this hobby. I hatch my own live food now and even started breeding. I’m grateful for all of the Co-Op team. I will admit I am addicted to my hobby but I found my niche’ and try to support Aquarium Co-Op in any way that I can. I live on the east coast but I like to believe I do what I can to show my gratitude. Although I have never had the opportunity to meet any of the crew face to face, I feel like they are friends 🤣 They definitely have integrity and care about their customers and community. I trust what they teach and feel it comes from a genuine desire to see new hobbiest like myself thrive and enjoy fish keeping as much as they do. They just are a great group of people and I could go on and on with good things regarding Aquarium Co-Op but this is long enough so with that said.. tune in whether on here or YouTube especially if you’re new and can relate to my sad start!

Cory and the Aquarium Co-Op crew are the beat in the hobby. This podcast is a wealth of Hobby and Business tips and information. My only complaint is that I wish they were uploaded right after Corys Live streams so they would be available sooner. Thank you Cory and team for sharing your valuable time with all of us. I’m 13 trying to grow my inventory of fish!!

I don’t care what anyone says, I’ve followed Cory and aquarium co-op for a long time now and I’ll never stop. The knowledge and insight is insane with every aspect of this hobby. From his guests on shows to employees, they’re all great. I absolutely love this company, their YouTube,podcast etc!

I like learning about fish and sometimes business and sometimes other weird tidbits while I do my water changes!

Low volume on this episode - even with phone volume cranked to max No timeline/timestamp - prevents skip ahead/back, “resume” function starts at 0, and the scrub function will not work.

I like this podcast because it’s clean and it’s got a lot of good knowledge.

30% seems to deal with why they don’t ship to Canada. I don’t know if it is the Canadians or Cory that needs to get over it and move on. Thanks for the all the free information.

Just don’t see the point of a podcast that reposts the aquarist podcast or YouTube live streams. I get reposting YouTube live streams to an extent because not everyone watches them on YouTube but why repost the aquarist podcast?

This is an excellent tool for both education & entertainment! Highly recommended

Great interview with Cory, make more!!

I was listening to to the rebroadcast of the of live show, and would FF past the website and business infomercial stuff. But then it started getting good content and then I quickly realized it was old rebroadcast and the podcast was not going to remain current and was not a priority. Very unfortunate.

Awesome podcast but I’m confused as to why episodes of the Aquarist Podcast are being released when I think it would be good just to redirect people to them

This podcast seemed good at first. But if you check the available podcasts you’ll find that there is a ton on keeping shrimp. Most of us are cichlid keepers or other fish keepers. That and we would rather listen about other fish related stories instead of about how difficult the business side of podcast owners life is. Sorry but that’s the truth. Hopefully it will be corrected so I would re-subscribe.

Glad I found out aquariumCoOp has podcast. I watch there videos on YouTube and now I can listen to them while I’m at work or stuck in traffic. Very informative but not boring they have a good sense a humor and I could listen to them for hours!

New to the hobby, started on aquarium coop using YouTube. Got a couple tanks now I’m on podcasts by aquarium coop thinking about bigger tanks 😂

Aquarium Co-Op brings the content!

After watching all the available episodes, I have greatly improved my limited knowledge of fish!

There is tons of good info and it’s fun to listen to. Some people complained about the rambling but I like it. In fact the “dreaded “ 8 houer live streams are my favorite because I don’t have to bring out my IPad in class. Because of this podcast and the YouTube channel. I when from 1 10 gal to 3 10 gal and 1 29 gal. My parents won’t let me get more. I do realy like this podcast and realy do recommend it to any levels of fish keeper because even tho lots of the info is beginner it’s still fun to listen to. One more thing Cory can come up with analogy’s super fast.

Just found this podcast a few days ago, so much information, it has taken my aquarium game to the next level.

I just want to say that if you’re into the hobby then this channel is a must. Cory and the gang really tank every single question and or concern that someone would ever have in the fish keeping hobby. Thank you for the hours upon hours of knowledge.

It’s good, when they talk about fish. Just listened to an episode where they argued about which lane to drive in for an hour after talking about fish for maybe fifteen minutes. Kind of annoying.

The shorter 23-30 minute episodes were direct and informative. The longer 1hr+ episodes are 1. Way too long. 2. Filled with annoying, irrelevant commentary. 3. Numbered poorly, if at all. I had high hopes for this podcast but will no longer follow because it is more a waste of time listening to the hosts talk about themselves instead of the real topic or purpose which is aquarium education.

The Podcast (and YouTube videos) are enjoyable, informative and entertaining. Cory, Joel, Jimmy and the guests they occasionally have all put out great info that is well researched and sound, but not so technical as to chase off newcomers. Great work!

Been a long time fan of the YouTube channel of Cobe, Josh, and Noodle Legs. Listening to the podcast really helps get through the work day and drives back and forth. Love all that these guys do even though Josh couldn’t breed those gumpys 😂

I am a new to the hobby(a little over a year) and I am loving learning a lot from your videos and podcast. This is an amazing podcast (the livestreams on YouTube are great as well). Often watch the live streams and re-listen to the podcasts. They talk about fish but the banter is what makes it fun every week. Keep it up!

If you are an aquarium hobbyest or you're interested in starting an aquarium this podcast is for you. I've been a fan of Cory and Corvus on YouTube for ages and I recently added the podcast to my queue and it's incredibly enjoyable. I highly recommend the real fish talk!

Cory has put a lot of time and money into this. I have been listening for over 6 months now, and I have learned a lot. Episodes aren’t always purely dedicated to talking about fish, but they are always educational and entertaining. Keep up the good work!

I am a recent follower to Cory from Aquarium Co-Op on YouTube. But, I have managed to watch almost all of his videos and am absolutely addicted! I started to listen to this podcast, and love the information provided. The topics are relevant and interesting and I can’t wait to hear more!

Definitely worth the listen if you have a fishtank, plan to get one, or had one as a kid and want to hear how much things have improved. Cory has a refreshing way of sharing his knowledge, and his efforts in the hobby teach a great lesson about how we can all be better humans. Way to go Cory!

I became a fan of Real Fish Talk over a year ago watching Aquarium Co-Op's archives on YouTube. I really enjoyed the long format of the Real Fish Talk videos with Cory and Lamont. Well it's back--and Joel aka Corvus Oscen brings a great energy and knowledgebase to the RFT mix. A great mix of topics for any fish keeper, but especially pertinent to the freshwater, planted aquarists.

Love it, found these guys while researching setting up a planted tank. They have a LOT of content on YouTube. Corey (cory?) is very knowledgeable, great information!

This podcast covers everything from setting up new tanks, to plants, to wild caught fish, and everything in the world of aquariums! Based in Washington state and run by a very successful fish store owner, RFT is the best aquarium podcast I have ever found! Great for getting HONEST opinions and advice on proper care of fish, good equipment, and anything else. Cory always cares about growing the love of fishkeeping rather than giving safe advice or just selling products. Me personally I love interacting with the listeners on Youtube, but to get the audio only version is great to listen to while driving.

I've been in the hobby for about 5 years and I have over 20 tanks. These 2 are always teaching me new information or new tricks to try out in my aquarium. Fun to listen to and always learning
