This podcast is great! Great chemistry between the hosts. I listen to a ton of Lakers podcasts but this one is one of my favs. Ps, why does Tommy always sound like he’s in a car? Busy man! lol

These guys are the most fun loving and good natured podcasters in Lakers fandom. Some podcasters know basketball x”s and o’s better, a lot of podcasters are more angry, but none are more friendly and supportive of our Lakers! Five stars today and everyday!

The young core of the lakers podcast world, these guys would get a max extension from me Their humor is never over the top but always right on Impressions? Perfect References to lakers dark days? Perfect Self awareness of the ridiculous sides of online 2021 nba fandom? Perfect These guys don’t take themselves too seriously and it makes their work better. Really feels like you’re listening to your friends talk. Only thing- tommy gotta stop using “inevitably” bc he uses it wrong LOL

It is crazy that at the start of every game, Rachel Nichols flashes the white power symbol with her left hand, for a long time during her monologue. You can go back and check. She did it from the preseason on. She obviously does not Want to be around “those” people. It devastated my children and I when we saw it. It is awful to do to the young, full of hopes and dreams. It is clear she wants to do something else. Let her do that something else away from our sons and daughters.

Most sports podcasts fall into one of two camps: either super-detailed and analytical, but kinda dry and drab; or jovial conversations between hosts but lacking on stats and deep-analysis. Jonathan, Tommy, and Alan strike the perfect balance between the two extremes. Listen to any episode, and its evident within the first few minutes that these dudes are extremely knowledgable and well-researched on not only Lakers players, but the NBA as a whole. But more important, their show is very approachable and digestible for the more casual basketball fan. I have not subscribed as a Patreon member because the show does not include a Champions Level of support. $17 per month would be well worth the content produced, as will the increase to $18, $19, and $20 in subsequent championship years!

George Floyd should not of died cops rightfully so were arrested. Apparently, investigating Bill Gates and/or exposing the "fact-checkers" is not allowed. Here is what I posted (along with a picture of Bill Gates and another of RFK Jr.)": According to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an investigative report by Columbia Journalism Review has revealed that Bill Gates controls the media and so-called “independent fact-checkers” through multi-million dollar grants and subgrants. Here is what RFK Jr. posted earlier today: A Columbia Journalism Review exposé reveals that, to control global journalism, Bill Gates has steered over $250 million to the BBC, NPR, NBC, Al Jazeera, ProPublica, National Journal, The Guardian, The New York Times, Univision, Medium, the Financial Times, The Atlantic, the Texas Tribune, Gannett, Washington Monthly, Le Monde, Center for Investigative Reporting, Pulitzer Center, National Press Foundation, International Center for Journalists, and a host of other groups. I found sixteen examples of Africa Check examining media claims related to Gates. This body of work overwhelmingly seems to support or defend Bill and Melinda Gates and their foundation, which has spent billions of dollarson development efforts in Africa. The only example I found of Africa Check even remotely challenging its patron was when a foundation employee tweeted an incorrect statistic—that a child dies of malaria every 60 seconds, instead of every 108. I don’t follow a ton of podcasts. Even when it comes to basketball, you guys were one of the first ~3ish podcasts I started listening to. I love it because it is, to me, one of the best podcasts that feels like it’s legit Lakers fans like one of your own homies except these dudes can be a little more objective. This is a super fun listen to when you’ve got a high off a Lakers win!

Nice and quick, not too technical or stat heavy, your real fan commentary on the game and the best team in the NBA.

Great place to get fun informative news on the lake show. You can tell these guys know their stuff and have been sticking with Lakers in the good and the bad... Excited for their coverage of the 2020 bubble season. If the Lakers get any more injuries at the guard position here’s hoping J Kidd will have a Jersey under his suit to help us out. Definitely worth checking out!

When the Lakers successful start to the season made me realize that I basically can’t get enough LAL-related podcast content into my ears, I was glad to discover these guys: always a fun, lighthearted conversation that balances unabashed fandom with clever insights and knowledgeable analysis.

Lit + Lite

After wallowing in the doldrums of mediocre Lakerdom for the past 6-7 years, it’s really amazing how fast things can turn. We went from growing pains with the kids and Magic steering the ship to saying F them kids and sadly realizing Magic is better at opening Starbucks than running the Lake Show. Kawhi and PG spurn us? Shame on them, F them too, cuz now we sit here with a Championship contending team. It feels like 99-01. 07-10. And I am here for it. Along the way, this GD amazing podcast came into my life. To the point I am literally salivating for the next episode. I love the twitter interaction, and can’t wait to enjoy real time reactions during the games. You guys are doing an excellent job and I am all about it—need/want MORE. INJECT THIS INTO MY VEINS!!!!!!

I absolutely love listening to this show. You guys make me laugh constantly and I always feel part of the show. I find my self nodding in agreement as well as shaking my head in disagreement but always enjoy every show. You all are a very knowledgeable crew and can’t wait for the show to eventually become a live show so I can call in and talk with you guys. Keep up the amazing work and I know you guys will eventually have the best Laker podcast in the world. (Which I think you already do) KEEP IT LIT!!!!
